Anti-Christian Sign at Seattle protest
If you've ever seen the old newsreels
from pre-WWII Germany, you'd notice an eerie feeling seeing the homosexual anti-Proposition 8 "protest" rally at Boston City Hall last Saturday.

It was easily the largest single homosexual event of the dozens organized around the country that day. It was carefully calculated to ignite the passions of the participants against people of faith and those with traditional values.
A sign at the Seattle rally - fairly typical anti-Christian message.

The homosexual movement's organized response to losing popular votes on Marriage Amendments has exposed their total dysfunction. America has never seen this kind of barbarism. From posting a list of Proposition 8 donors (so they can more easily be harassed) to terrorizing Mormon churches, to rioting, to displaying vile anti-Christian signs - it's truly a sickening sight.

Gay protestors out of control

Rather than having us describe it, look for yourself at some of the videos that have been posted.  You will see the true nature of the homosexual movement.  This is how they want to rule you.

San Francisco: Homosexual mob attacks group of Christians, sexually assaults one of the men.  Squad of police needed to guard Christians as they leave the area.  See the VIDEO.

  • New York City: Screaming "Fascist Church" a large mob of homosexuals terrorizes Mormon temple.  See the VIDEO.

  • In Los Angeles the largest and most venomous attack was against a Mormon Temple. It lasted over ten hours. Words can't describe it: you need to look for yourself.
    Video #1      Video #2      Video #3      Video #4

  • Even the Fox News building in Los Angeles endured a terrifying riot, apparently because they didn't cover the homosexuals' issues as biased as the other networks. See the VIDEO.

  • Northampton, Massachusetts: A bizarre "transgender" speaker reminding us that the next frontier for the homosexual movement is the state supporting having one's mutilated to "change" your sex.
MassResistance Blog with link to video.

  • Los Angeles: Well-known Mexican Restaurant forced to donate $500 to homosexual group because manager donated $100 to Proposition 8. Homosexual activists converged on the restaurant and threatened patrons. See the VIDEO.  Also see LA Times article

  • "Cry Babies" - a fascinating and frightening video that analyzes the rage of the homosexual movement's recent attacks.  See the VIDEO.

It's very clear that the homosexual activists do not consider reason, discourse, and general citizenship to play any part in their game plan.  It's all about anger, emotion, and doing whatever it takes to get their way.

Energy > Thanks to three American senators,
China will be pumping Iraqi oil

This morning, I had the honor of testifying before the House Budget Committee on the situation in Iraq.  The discussion was polite and civilized, and was a reminder that even now it is possible for people who disagree about what to do in Iraq to argue without raised voices and disagreeable language (apart from the Code Pink women, yelling for those who think that shouting opponents down is preferable to arguing with them).

Congressman Brian Baird once again demonstrated that it is possible even for those who bitterly opposed the war to recognize the importance of doing the right thing now--as well as the possibility of crossing the Republican-Democrat sectarian divide on this issue.  One question came up repeatedly in the hearing that deserves more of an answer than it got, however: Why, after all the assistance we've given to Iraq over the past five years, was the first major Iraqi oil deal signed with China and not with an American or even a western company? The answer is, in part, because three Democratic senators intervened in Iraqi domestic politics earlier this year to prevent Iraq from signing short-term agreements with Exxon Mobil, Shell, Total, Chevron, and BP.

The Iraqi government was poised to sign no-bid contracts with those firms this summer to help make immediate and needed improvements in Iraq 's oil infrastructure.  The result would have been significant foreign investment in Iraq , an expansion of Iraqi government revenues, and an increase in the global supply of oil.  One would have thought that leading Democratic senators who claim to be interested in finding other sources of funding to replace American dollars in Iraq, in helping Iraq spend its own money on its own people, and in lowering the price of gasoline for American citizens, would have been all for it.  Instead, Senators Chuck Schumer, John Kerry, and Claire McCaskill wrote a letter to Secretary of State Rice asking her "to persuade the GOI [Government of Iraq] to refrain from signing contracts with multinational oil companies until a hydrocarbon law is in effect in Iraq ."
The Bush administration wisely refused to do so, but the resulting media hooraw in Iraq led to the cancellation of the contracts, and helps to explain why Iraq is doing oil deals instead with China .

Senators Schumer, McCaskill, and Kerry claimed to be acting from the purest of motives: "It is our fear that this action by the Iraqi government could further deepen political tensions in Iraq and put our service members in even great danger."  For that reason, presumably, Schumer went so far as to ask the senior vice president of Exxon "if his company would agree to wait until the GOI produced a fair, equitable, and transparent hydrocarbon revenue sharing law before it signed any long-term agreement with the GOI."  Exxon naturally refused, but Schumer managed to get the deal killed anyway.  But the ostensible premise of the senators' objections was false--Iraq may not have a hydrocarbons law, but the central government has been sharing oil revenues equitably and there is no reason at all to imagine that signing the deals would have generated increased violence (and this was certainly not the view of American civilian and military officials on the ground in Iraq at the time).

It is certain that killing the deals has delayed the maturation of Iraq 's oil industry without producing the desired hydrocarbons legislation.
Nor is it entirely clear what the senators' motivations were.

Their release (available along with their letter to Secretary Rice at the New York Observer quoted Senator McCaskill as follows: "'It's bad enough that we have no-bid contracts being awarded for work in Iraq. It's bad enough that the big oil companies continue to receive government handouts while they post record breaking profits. But now the most profitable companies in the universe--America's biggest oil companies--stand to reap the rewards of this no-bid contract on top of it all,' McCaskill said. 'It doesn't take a rocket scientist to connect these dots--big oil is running Washington and now they're running Baghdad . There is no reason under the sun not to halt these agreements until we get revenue sharing in place,' McCaskill said." So was this about what's best for Iraq and American interests there or about nailing "big oil" in an election year?

Either way, like Barack Obama's asking the Iraqi foreign minister to hold off on a strategic framework agreement until after the American election, it was nothing but harmful to American interests and our prospects in Iraq.

Education > WSD: Tax Rates Not Increasing,
But Taxes Paid Are

   Bob Weeks

According to the Wichita Eagle article School board plans no tax increase for coming year, USD 259, the Wichita public school district, does not “plan to raise property taxes” to pay for school operations next year.

Now if you read that and that alone, you might want to congratulate Wichita school officials for respecting the taxpayer.

But not so fast.

For one thing, the taxes that are under the control of USD 259 are increasing. The rate is not, but the amount collected is. That’s because property taxes increase each year as property is reappraised to a higher value, and as new property comes into existence. This increase can be high, too. From 2005 to 2006, the two most recent years I could find data at usd259.com, the total assessed value of property taxable by USD 259 increased from $2,314,710,733 to $2,428,891,164. That’s an increase of 4.9%, and even without an increase in the mill levy (the rate at which property is taxed), much more tax will be collected.

Then, it’s not like the school district’s appetite for tax increases is sated. Last August the board increase the mill levy by two mills. That brought the district to its statutory limit. It can’t increase the mill levy further without asking for voter approval. If not for that, we can be fairly sure that the board would pass another tax rate increase.

Finally, remember that this Wichita school board and its surrogates Schaefer Johnson Cox Frey Architecture and Citizens Alliance for Responsible Education are campaigning for the voters to approve a large tax increase in the form of the bond issue, which may or may not appear on a ballot soon.

Opinion > Liberals clinically mad, concludes top psychiatrist

WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to "the vast right-wing conspiracy."

For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago .

Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by both Barack Obama and his Democratic primary opponent Hillary Clinton can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

'A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation's citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state – as liberals do."

Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:
  • creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
  • satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
  • augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
  • rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.
"The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind," he says. "When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

Religion/values > Why gays are enraged over Proposition 8..

On the surface, it would seem strange that the homosexual movement is so enraged at the passing of Proposition 8.  California already had a domestic partnership statute that gave same-sex couples all of the significant rights and obligations traditionally associated with the institution of marriage. Proposition 8 doesn't change that. Prop 8 only deals with the word "marriage". It simply says, "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."

Like the recent weak Massachusetts marriage amendment, it allows any kind of exact copy of marriage.  So they already have everything they want.

But they don't really have what they want. They're not that interested in technical rights. They want acceptance. They want acceptance of homosexuality to be forced on a society that would never accept it without coercion. That's why the word "marriage" is much more important to them than the rights and obligations of marriage.

At a very visceral, emotional level they want all of society's institutions -- the schools, government, business, media, etc. -- to recognize homosexual behavior as a natural equivalent to heterosexuality. That's why the word "equal" is a part of so many of their activities and organizations.

But humanity being what it is, over all these thousands of years, the radicals know that what they want won't ever happen on its own. Ultimately, a human court or legislature can't repeal the laws of nature. That's a big problem for them.

Gay activists continuing angry protests in cities across America this weekend (including Boston).

They are not letting up. They want to bring their message of intimidation and rage to everyone. They want you to be afraid. And they probably feel empowered by the national election results.

This Saturday, November 15, homosexual activists across the county are claiming that they've planned California-like protests and marches in all 50 states!

Homosexual website listing planned protests across America.

The Boston protest is planned for 1:30 pm on Saturday at Boston City Hall.

Homosexual news article on planned protest in Boston

Is this just the beginning?

We all know very well that if the homosexual movement doesn’t get its way, it will resort to anything they, including violence. They know no boundaries. What you've read above is only a sample of what is happening right now. And as we've seen, the police are reluctant to take action and the media ranges between indifference and blatant sympathy and support for the criminal acts.

{Christian Newswire}

The media coverage of Senator Obama has built him up as a messiah to the extent that he appears to believe in himself. He has promised to provide things far beyond the abilities of a U.S. President. Of nationalized health care: "I pay for every dime of it", and in general, "I will change the world".

Newer information has revealed however, that Obama is not able to address and correct difficulties within his own family. He has been unable, with last year's four million dollar income, to assist some of his more impoverished relatives including George Hussein Onyango Obama, living in a hut near Nairobi, and Auntie Zeituni Onyango, (mentioned in "Dreams from My Father" as a new found family member for whom he felt a connection and responsibility), occupying an apartment in Boston public housing.

Auntie Zeituni attended the senate swearing in ceremony for Obama in 2004, and contributed $260 to his campaign, but has, this past week, been found to be an illegal immigrant, having been denied political asylum. Senator Obama, himself a lawyer, was unable to assist his aunt in this matter.

As of October 31, Obama was not providing a certified copy of his birth certificate for public viewing in order to lay doubts about his own citizenship to rest. The records in Hawaii are sealed.

I suggest to the hopeful followers of Obama that since he is unable to handle rather mundane personal and family matters, there should not be a strong expectation that he can correct the social and financial difficulties of millions of complete strangers.

I recommend that people instead place their faith in Jesus Christ who, when occupying human form, functioned not as a lawyer and politician, but as a carpenter and teacher. Jesus was infinitely more attentive and effective in handling the personal matters of his family and loved ones: healing the sick and feeding the hungry Luke 9:10-17, raising Lazarus from the dead John 11:1-44, and resolving 'social security' matters for his mother, even while preoccupied with the extreme pain of crucifixion John 19:25-27.

Follow the Real Messiah.

Energy > Coal official calls Obama comments 'unbelievable'

{I guess Obama will keep the lights on and the economy humming by his brillance - or maybe all the change he is going to effect will somehow generate electrical fields.  Of course, he has no concern about keeping the lights on in the White House - you can be sure that the last amp flowing anywhere in the country will be directed to the White House with the peons paying for it while they shiver in the dark.

Kansans are going to pay the price in spades of the Governor sabatoging the Holcomb coal plant this year - the opportunity to get it started was squandered in partisan bickering. Even if the Kansas legislature could pass it with a veto-proof margin at the state level during the next session, the odds of an Obamination Administration letting it happen are about the same as Algore renouncing global warming,  The Governor did it to gain points with Obama for a DC job - once she is out of here, she could care less what happens in Kansas other than to do whatever is necessary to prevent Holcomb from ever being built to ensure her legacy with the ecofascists. Maybe some one should plant a tombstone at the Holcomb site: "Here lies Viable Economy, Done in by Anti-Carbon Kathy. - Ed.}

by Chris Dickerson

CHARLESTON - At least one state coal industry leader said he was shocked by comments Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made earlier this year concerning his plan to aggressively charge polluters for carbon and greenhouse gas emissions.

"What I've said is that we would put a cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else's out there," Obama said in a Jan. 17 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle that was made public today on the Web site newsbusters.org, which calls itself "the leader in documenting, exposing and neutralizing liberal media bias."    MORE..

News > Attacking Joe the Plumber

By Laura Ingraham

After October's now-notorious encounter with Joe the Plumber, Obama's media foot soldiers were dispatched with a simple mission: destroy Joe. On Sunday's Fox and Friends, Joe announced their success; his business has been shut down.

Thanks to the intrepid reporting of journalists who've obviously lost all sense of perspective, it turns out Joe has been fixing Ohioans' plumbing without a government-issued license. Talk about irony.  Joe came under fire for humiliating Obama by noting his tax plans interfere with Joe's American Dream.  He wanted to buy his plumbing company and expand it, but higher taxes on small businesses threaten to turn that dream into a nightmare.  The left, in other words, used Big Government to silence Joe Citizen for speaking ill of Big Government.

In turn, Americans have offered financial support to Joe - offers he's politely declined.

Americans have taken to Joe for his willingness to go where the media refuses - that is, for actually speaking truth to power.  Nothing's more infuriating than reporters allowing themselves to be used by politicians, yet that's exactly what's being done on a daily basis at CBS, NBC, CNN, etc.  Joe got the opportunity to tell Obama directly that his tax plans - which penalize hard work while claiming to further America's best interests - were an insult to his intelligence.

Meanwhile, conservative websites are left to do the real reporting on Obama.  NewsMax's Ken Timmerman reports that as much as $63 million of Obama's $150 million September haul may originate from illegal foreign donations. (Conveniently, the campaign refuses to release the names of more than 80% of its 2.5 million contributors.) Obama's tax returns also indicate that in 2000 and 2002, he violated Illinois state law by accepting speaking fees while serving as a state senator.

The press is supposed to hold politicians accountable on behalf of the people. Yet while Obama collects millions in dubious donations and ACORN registers phantom voters in battleground states by the thousands, today's media is doing the Democrats' heavy lifting with its slash-and-smear campaign against people like Joe.

Never before in our history has the media establishment been so derelict in its responsibilities, so one-sided in its coverage, that today it is nothing more than a cheerleader for the Obama campaign.  Never with so much at stake for America's security and our way of life, has the media worked with such single-minded zealousness to elect a dilettante with so little experience and such faulty judgment.

Is the type of bullying and intimidation that Joe's endured what Americans can expect from an Obama administration in response to serious criticism? Will the media closest to the people - talk radio and the blogosphere - be the next targets?

Environment/Recycling > Forced recyling reminescent of
police state not democracy

Recently the Overland Park, Kansas City Council voted for mandatory recyling in the city without a public hearing or debate.  The chief proponent of mandatory recycling, councilwoman Donna Owens, stated that I think we need to move forward with managing this because it will compel people to start recycling even if they don’t want to.”  She further suggested that the "effort by the council was a way to manage/moderate for our residents the impending ‘crisis’ that is ahead on solid waste."  And, who created the crisis other than Council?

Owen's reasoning is simply more of the convoluted ‘double speak’ that has so defined OP’s council under Carl Gerlach, just a bunch of 'good German’s' doing their job. This council continues to regularly cross the lines of constitutionality in its governance.

OP’s city council is the repository of every anti-democratic idea to come down the pike in recent years, from red-light camera surveillance, to the unconstitutional home invasion plan of ‘systematic inspection’, to the genuinely ‘unhinged’ environmental recommendations of the city's ‘OPIE’ column which cautions the public not to wash their cars in their own driveways while city trucks spew salt, chemicals, oil and antifreeze into the same stormwater system.

Councilwoman Owen's principle lament was council's failure to create public awareness on the need to recycle, before the vote making it mandatory.  The public would have rejected council's plan just as the Overland Park Sun’s poll indicates.  So stealth advancement of the city’s undemocratic plans must be the order of the day, in order to move forward its untoward political agenda, just as it is for all totalitarian regimes.

The fact that this city council voted not only against the will of the people but with no public debate is the issue, not whether or not, there was public awareness.  Her actions, along with those of other council members, are not the workings of democracy or self-government but rather those of a cadre of elitists who believe they know better than everyone else.

The reason there’s a perceived ‘crisis’ in waste disposal in Overland Park is because there’s no innovation, no leadership and the free enterprise system has been held captive by a band of environmental Nazis and their Fuehrer, who currently comprise the majority of OP council and the mayor’s office.

Citizens in a free society and this is key, are not under any obligation to dance to the perceived fears of a coterie of self-anointed intellectuals who see themselves as uniquely qualified to govern.  We haven’t experienced the ‘..reality of this [recycling] problem in Johnson County’ until now because this current council’s leadership skills do not extend beyond crisis management.

Perhaps, council could better spend its time lobbying the state to build a refuse burning facility outside OP based on fluidized bed technology, one that would obviate the need for larger landfills as well as augment the city’s supply of electricity. Environmental parameters are less difficult to meet than what KCPL will have to do for its 800 MW Weston, Missouri unit.

Education > KU newspaper chooses War Memorial
for ‘Sex on the Hill’ photo shoot

"Kansas University's campus is buzzing after a student newspaper released its annual sex issue called "Sex on the Hill." It's not new to students. Every year the Daily Kansan releases it's sex issue. But, this year there's controversy over the photographs and where they were taken. I was also shocked. It was graphic. They were naked, the poses they were in.  I was just (sigh). And the boys touching tongues, whoa," said Michelle Scanga, KU Freshman."Fox News

It appears that there is little supervision or oversight of tomorrow’s leaders from the KU faculty but rather an aura of the inmates running the asylum prevails. I wonder, if greater awareness and concern might exist on the part of the school administration, if the student newspaper had libeled someone in place of the current faux pas, or would there simply be more of ‘let the taxpayers pick up the legal costs’.

Fox News continues, "Much of the controversy surrounding the cover shot was not about the picture, but the location. KU Campanile is a World War II Memorial. Some said choosing that location for a shot like the cover was disrespectful. "If they were to do it on the top of a brand new scholarship hall go for it."

I suggest that the University of Kansas students follow the role model of former Attorney General Paul Morrison and use the courthouse for their future ‘sex capade’ photo opts.  Perhaps, they may engage the participation of the judiciary, as sexual abuse by members of the bench and BAR in the courthouse, seems to be a common refrain. " A federal judge accused of fondling a former court employee was indicted by a federal grand jury Thursday on sexual abuse charges."

"A defense attorney who was found naked with a 14-year-old girl in a city courthouse pleaded no contest to charges of sexually assaulting the teen and five other girls."

Education now consumes the majority of the state’s tax revenue and what have the people of Kansas to show for it besides the disgraceful showing of naked bodies engaging in crude sexual exhibitions at a public war memorial? Many brave men fought and died in WWII so that the vile vagabonds of academia might have the freedom to indoctrinate the nation’s youth with their social, sexual and economic trash.

What’s important in higher education today is the inculcation of the nation’s youth in the ‘scientific superiority of sodomy’, regardless of individual or family beliefs, instruction in general licentiousness, punctuated by generous amounts of Marxian economics and social activism. The modern ‘John Lockes’ of social enlightenment of Kansas University faculty, prefer students have experience in burning the American flag, as a prerequisite for the ‘change’ these Social Darwinists promote.

While the student newspaper is to be blamed for its poor judgment and lack of social maturity in it’s ‘sex on the hill’ publication, the students are nevertheless a product of the intellectually flatulent social parasites that so populate American higher education.  Men and Women, who could not otherwise qualify for the most menial of jobs in ‘an employment at will’ environment, such as shoveling manure in the south forty of most farms, achieve tenure at the expense of the culture.

At least the public now understands what constitutes American ‘higher education’ policies that the KNEA is able to promote, courtesy of the felicitous actions of the foul windbags that populate the state’s highest court. Why should the people of Kansas be forced to fund the intellectual dearth of Kansas University? If House speaker Melvin Neufeld had any manhood to find, the legislature’s funding would come to an abrupt halt for all state universities.
