Microsoft Wireless Notebook Laser Mouse 6000

The battery usage of this mouse is great and it takes one double a batter. There is no light on the laser which is nice. The usb receiver attaches to the bottom of the mouse. This is less efficient than some logitech mice that hide the receiver inside the mouse.

What I dislike the most is the scroll when between the two mouse buttons. I don't know if mine is defect, the scroll wheel has no resistances and is in free spin. Even after I set the mouse options to scroll one line at a time, it is still too fast.

After installing the Microsoft intelipoint the scroll wheel is not as bad as before, still not good enough to use after the new logitech revolution arrives.

In conclusion the mouse is great overall other than the wheel mouse that free scrolls. I need a better wheel than this to function. Not a keeper.

Da Vinci Code Movie Sucks

The media did their job in making sure a movie that sucks sold a lot of tickets. Until people actually see the film and spread the word, the media will continue to try to make this movie controversial.

I don't know if I disliked the movie more than I disliked the build up of a movie that really does nothing for even the readers of the book.

The movie was supposed to follow very close to the details of the book; however in several cases you will see this is not the case.

If you are a Christian and are worried about Satan and the fall of Christians and the believers, do not. Simply do not worry about this movie shaking the faith of anything. Other than the outright crazy character that is a mad man, and him supposedly being a religious fanatic, this movie is a over thought, un visual, fiction chase of mystery clues only the actors get.

The media should have reviewed this movie as what it was labeled as, fiction. Although there are part truths in it, a lot of it is theory. They did not review this movie as a fiction, as it was labeled, just so that they could sell more movie tickets.

Readers of the book and fans a like should be disappointed in this movie. When I left the theater, I felt like I just watched a black screen for 2 hours.

Howard Stern Is Over Rated

Sirius radio, a satellite radio provider, is on the war path. Their little honey bunny Howard stern is having his show pirated over the Internet. First off, you either like stern enough to pay for Sirius or you don't and are willing to listen to pirated copies. I do not fall into either of these categories. There is nothing special about Howard stern other than the fact that he is outrageously rude and obnoxious.

Common sense should tell anyone that junk in is junk out. Sterns popular show has nothing of value to offer any listener. Go ahead and act like Howard stern in public, at work, or with your family and see how far it gets you. See how far it got Howard stern and his first wife. I'm sure every wife would mind if their husbands were hanging out with strippers at work.

Before the Sirius radio deal started, stern, on his old radio show, for the last couple weeks he would promote his new and upcoming job at Sirius. Yeah that's a good idea, until they tried to sue him for $500 million.

I think the demographics for sterns show get fewer and fewer as the year age of the listener increases. Do you think 30 year old persons listen to Howard stern? Unfortunately they do, a lot of them do.

Listening to Howard stern does not make you a lesser being, but listening to vulgar trash repeatedly could cause character flaws.

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory

There is no movie I know that can compare with pure immagination. Well I dont want to beef up the movie to sound better than what I thought. However I do believe that this is a decent movie. Obvious to those of us who have seen the original charlie and the chocolate factory, in the newer charlie in the chocolate factory, things differ in many ways.

But of course that goes without say. No one wants to watch a movie that is completely the same as the original.

The movie revisits a lot of the characters from the original. The parents of the few golden ticket winners differ just a little.

As you could expect the computer generated graphics are astounding and bring the factory to life.

The oompa loopas are not a bunch of different midgets in this movie, instead they are the same guy copy and pasted over and over again. He (the oompa loompa man) also doubles as woman oompa loompas. The songs they sing do not fit the old style of "oompa loompa dopadee daa". These songs at times are strange but they get the point across.

One of the major differences in the two versions, is that in the original willy wonka was more or less a crazy loud kind of guy. In the new version willy wonka's presense is that of a small boy, with a girlish talk and girlish hair. Johnny Deep, who plays wanka, is at times hard to watch and listen to. The new willy wonka has obvious childhood problems that create his boyish and childish manner.

If you can get past the way will wonka talks and looks, you should enjoy this movie just as much as I did.

As for changes in the story, non of the golden ticket winners are approached by a fake idea stealer that wants to everlasting gobstopper. Charlie and his grandpa do not float around in the bubble room. The glass elevator is introduced a lot earlier in the new movie.

In the new willy wonka there is a lot more story line behind willy wonka as a child. What he goes through that makes him turn out to be the worlds favorite candy maker.

From one to five on a rating scale, I give this movie a three. I would go with a four or four point five if Deep didnt played the wonka as, I dont know what to say. Deep is the man but I couldnt handle the way he played the role.

To visit a willy wonka and the chocolate factory website worthy of reading, check out this link. This link walks you through the movie and brings the story to life. There are many images there as well.
