So life is full of curve balls. My sister just gave me one. She is 43 and just found out she is "accidentally" pregnant. Wow. She already has 4 kids. It is hard to believe in accidents when one is 43, but hey. This is quite a shock. First I was shocked, then I was a little worried, then I was a little upset. Worried, because this baby could have problems, and worse yet, the mother could have problems. It really was not a very smart "accident" to allow to happen. But of course, I can't tell her that. So that is why I am blogging. I want to talk to someone and my dear blog, you are it. There are so many things that can go wrong. They probably won't, but that doesn't mean we all won't waste nine months worrying about them. But then there are so many things that can go wrong after that. Like, will the parents live to see the child graduate?

Just read your entry and i felt to share with you my opinion. Dont worry! Really dont worry! She is not really old your sister. 43 years old today is still young... Usually there are no problems in pregnacy in this age as i know by my cousin. She has had her 4th baby last year and she was -last year- 42 years old. She has had no problem and more... she is a doctor so she knows all kind of dangers... So, dont worry. And we live more than 75 years average so the parents will certainly have the time to see all children grow up and be graduated!
