I read in the morning on a german blog that EA made a announcement of a new Skate 4 Game title. A early april joke??!

Following the announcement of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD now also EA announces new skateboarding title called Skate 4 :D, on the other hand EA considered a Skate Game version for Sony's new handheld PS Vita entitled Skate Vita. In addition to new graphics engine many new features will make their way.
THAT WOULD BE SICK WHEN THAT IS REALLY TRUE that we get finally a Skate 4 .. and dudes I will buy it blind when it comes really to this. 8)
Some of the upcoming features of Skate 4:
Real Time of Day feature: realistic day and night cycles
Map is four times larger than in Skate3
New means of locomotion: Longboard + BMX (yes, you read right) :D
BMX is mainly used to get to the mountains used for longboard carving
Longboard instead od skateboard should provide more realism
Flatland tricks: finger flips, slides and Casper, gestures and facial expressions when Grind
individual cover graphic design, logo Wheels
PS Eye or Kinect for "face transfer" on character
In addition to the known multiplayer features: Freeskate 2Player-split screen in certain sections of Level
Hall of Meat will be represented only as online modes
Replay feature: Your own videos and screenshots can be saved on the PS3, or will be published via social networks
I´ve searched half the day but I found only this infos about Skate 4 yet. More information about the Skate 4 game are not yet known, but will follow this weekend. EA gives "rough" infos about the release for Skate 4 and Skate Vita, it should come in the 3rd Quarter of 2012.

Should be the Skate 3 map for Controller mapping tests. He said its playable on Vita and he can't wait to see the new map. (Don´t know if it´s a fake, but it looks sick)
