My boyfriend started working in the US as a home health aide last month. Obviously, that was a very sad time for us. This is the first time we're apart since we got together last year. However, I understand that he needs to earn for his family and our own future family. We are planning to get married in the next two years and having a nice wedding for 2 big families is not cheap. We cannot depend on our parents' money because they have more important things to think about like food and rent. I admire my boyfriend for being very strong for the two of us. He is very brave to go abroad and work there just for money. We all know that it is not easy to work in a foreign land. Although he has a sister there, he still needs to take care of home health aide training because his sister has her own family to take care of. My boyfriend plans to send me money every month so I can start putting his money in the bank. It will be used for our wedding. Whenever we talk, I can hear the exhaustion from his voice. He also sounds lonely but he tries his best to hide it.

He promised to come home once he has saved enough money so we can buy a house and a car. I am looking forward to that day because I don't want to be away from him for a long time. I am also scared that he might meet someone cute and smart there if he stayed there too long. I will be waiting until he comes back and marry me!
