Runescape Skill Guides > Runescape Prayer Guide Tips

Runescape. Characters can use it to buff and heal as they adventure in the world.

Prayer in Runescape serves the same role that clerical or priestly magic does in other games. It serves to heal and buff the Runescape character. Prayer is used for both buffing and healing in the game, but it is one of the hardest skills to raise. Merely using a power from the prayer list does not give a Runescape character prayer experience.

Most skills in Runescape have a fairly straight forward process of leveling up which involves using them. Using a spell from the prayer list will not cause the skill to go up. Instead, a player must find and bury bones in order to gain experience. It is often a painstakingly slow process.

Raising Runescape Prayer Experience
Using a spell form the prayer list is not enough to cause a player's experience in the skill to go up. Insated, a Runescape character must bury bones found on the monsters that he kills. The bones that yield the most prayer experience can only be used by Runescape members, but this restriction only means that the free members can still level up their prayer skill level more slowly. A free player who wants to raise his prayer skill should find and bury big bones or sell them to make
runescape gold, which give 15 experience points when buried.

Getting New Prayers in Runescape
As a Runescape characters level in prayer increases, new buff spells become available that can help a character out as he journeys through the game world. Spells on the prayer list can be used as long as the character has the necessary skill points and level to use them. If a character runs out of skill points, he must return to an altar and pray to recharge his prayer points.

Prayer in Runescape is one of the most frustrating skills to level, but it is the second most powerful skill set in the game. Because there are no limits to the number of skills a Runescape cahracter can learn, there is no reason not to pursue any skill that makes a character's life easier.

Patience and diligence are required to raise this skill more so than any other skill in runescape account. If a character puts the effort, he will eventually reap the rewards of channeling divine energy. People with less patience may want to try mastering other trade skills in such as smithing , cooking , or fishing . A different skill is used for offensive spells.

Runescape gives players the option of using divine magic and rune magic.

Any fantasy RPG would not be the same without some form of magic. Runescape is no exception to this rule. A Runescape character who wishes to harness the arcane energies that fuel the magic of the world must collect and gather runes.

Offensive and teleportation magic is cast by using using rune combinations. This differs from prayer magic, which is a set list of abilities that a character knows. Many Runescape runes can be made by players with the Runecrafting skill, although the runes neccessary for magic can spells also be purchased or found on monsters.

What Magic Spells can a Runescape Character Cast?
Because there are many possible combinations of runes that can produce a magic spell in Runescape, a comprehensive list of them is not possible. The Runescape client lets a player know if he has the required runes to cast a spell. If a character has the runes for a magic spell, he can click on the appropriate icon to cast it. The required runes are then consume. A brief list of Runescape magic spells available to free Runescape players is found
runescape gold below.

Home Teleport – No Runes Required
Air Strike – 1 Air, 1 Mind
Confuse – 3 Water, 2 Earth, 1 Body
Water Strike -- 1 Water, 1 Air, 1 Mind
Enchant Jewelry – 1 Water, 1 Cosmic
Weaken – 3 Water, 2 Earth 1 Body
Fire Strike – 2 Air, 3 Fire, 1 Mind
Bones to Bananas -- 2 Earth, 2 Water 1 Nature
Wind Bolt – 2 Air, 1 Chaos
Should a Character Pay for Runes for his Magic Spells?
If a Runescape character wishes to play a mighty wizard, runes can help the character further that goal, but using magic it is not the only path to fame and glory in the popular free mmorpg. Runescape characters can use many combat skills, including ranged skills and many skills related to melee weapons.

Joining the mage's guild can reduce the cost of runesbought off of merchants, but it is not necessary for a Runescape player to dedicate himself to one specific skill, A full list of the magic spells available to Runescape characters, including to paid members can be found on the Global Runescape and the Runescape Tips web sites.

Runescape Magic at Its Best and Worst
The magical system of Runescape is more flexible than it is in many other mmorpgs that lock a character into one class at creation and the abilities the character learns are based on that initial choice, but every magic spell in Runescape requires components.

Even if a player takes up the trade skill that lets him make the material needed to power his arcane efforts, he will eventually run out of runes and have to rely on another runescape account combat skill. This means that a Runescape character should be a little more well rounded than the offerings a person would find in many of the commercial mmorpgs.

Runescape player benefits from learning these RuneScape fishing methods.

Barbarian fishing is a unique method of RuneScape fishing available only to members of RuneScape. Many RuneScape players prefer to powerlevel their fishing through barbarian fishing. Here is a look at the requirements, techniques, drawbacks, and benefits of powerleveling fishing in RuneScape by barbarian fishing.

In barbarian fishing, the fish that are caught are not the normal RuneScape food source, but rather are the source of roe and caviar, ingredients in barbarian potions. There is another type of barbarian fishing in RuneScape, barehanded fishing. Although most of this article will deal with catching leaping fish, I will briefly cover barehanded fishing afterwards.

What types of RuneScape fish can you catch using barbarian fishing?

The three types of RuneScape Fish you can catch are leaping trout, leaping salmon, and leaping sturgeon. Leaping trout sometimes produces fish offcuts and roe when filleted. Leaping Salmon provides fish offcuts and roe more often. Leaping sturgeon produces caviar and fish offcuts. Barbarian fishing requires a heavy rod to fish with. Heavy rods are non-tradable but respawn under the bed in Otto Godblessed’s house.

What RuneScape experience does Barbarian Fishing offer?

For every leaping trout you catch in RuneScape, you gain five agility experience and five strength experience in addition to the 50 fishing experience from normal trout. For each leaping salmon you catch in RuneScape, you gain six agility experience and six strength experience in addition to the 70 fishing experience from catching normal salmon. Successful filleting of either of these fish (roe and fish cuts or just roe) gives you ten cooking experience. For every leaping sturgeon you catch in RuneScape, you gain seven agility experience, seven strength experience, and eighty fishing experience. A successful fillet produces 15 cooking experience.

What levels in what RuneScape skills are required before barbarian fishing?

In order to catch leaping trout, you will need to have level 48 fishing along with level 15 strength and level 15 agility. Catching leaping salmon requires level 58 fishing along with level 30 in strength and agility. Leaping sturgeon can be caught once the RuneScape player has attained level 70 fishing, level 45 strength, and level 45 agility.

What are the best ways to train RuneScape levels in order to do barbarian fishing?

Most players probably have a high strength level already. Using an aggressive attack style allows a RuneScape player to train strength. Train fishing by catching either crayfish or shrimps until level five, where you also have the option of bait fishing. At level 15, you can catch anchovies by small net fishing if you want to make some runescape gold. At level 20, begin lure fishing for trout and salmon; this is the best way to train fishing the rest of the way.

Agility is the tough one. Use the gnome course repeatedly until you hit level 15. At level 15 you have two options. Either catch roughly 2,200 leaping trout or do roughly 130 more treks around the agility course. Since trout do not provide enough bait to sustain a supply, you are best buying feathers (6 RuneScape gold each) or fishing bait (2-3 RuneScape gold.) You can either drop or gut the trout, if gutting, save only the offcuts. You can also use experience lamps and do quests that offer a reward of Agility experience. Do the circus weekly also to gain fast experience from the tightrope.

By walking or games-necklace teleporting back to the barbarian outpost, you can bank the caviar, which sells for between 200-400 gold each. Offcuts and roe are not worth the time unless you are using the roe to train herblore. The best way to powerlevel fishing in the game for levels 70-99 is to bring a stack of fishing bait and drop the fish without bothering to gut. Expect a game update to allow purchasing more than 100 offcuts every four hours, until then fishing bait is the best way to go.

You can also catch fish barehanded. You can catch Tuna at level 55 fishing with 35 strength. At 70 fishing, you can catch swordfish with level 50 strength. In the Fishing guild, you catch equal amounts of tuna and swordfish. I’m not sure of ratios at other spots. In addition to the normal 80 or 100 fishing experience, you gain 8 and 10 strength, respectively. At level 96 fishing, you can catch shark barehanded with level 76 strength. Catching shark barehanded grants 11 strength experience in addition to the normal 110 fishing experience.

Barehanded harpoon fishing has several key uses in the game. A RuneScape player needing food can catch the fish without needing a harpoon. Barehanded harpoon fishing can also fill the inventory if the player is passing a fishing spot en route to a bank. However, the most important use of this skill is when the player goes to miscellania forgetting to bring a tool. Fishing from the docks is a lot simpler than running all the way to the etcetera bank for a tool.

Barbarian fishing is a valuable skill of runescape account, and any RuneScape member of ample level should go to baxtorian falls and start barbarian training with Otto.

Runescape Skill Guides > Training RuneScape Woodcutting skill to Yew Trees (Level 60)

Runescape. The right wood to cut, tools to use, and logs to sell or save to maximise your profits and training.

Woodcutting is one of the most popular skills in RuneScape, being, at the time of this writing, the highest among non-combat skills on the minimum hiscore requirement, currently needing level 61 to crack the top two million. Woodcutting allows players to make a decent amount of RuneScape gold, or gives the RuneScape player the resources to train firemaking or fletching if a member. This article will focus on training F2P woodcutting.

RuneScape Level 1-15 F2P Woodcutting Training: Normal Trees: RuneScape players need to chop down 96 regular trees (they chopped one already on Tutorial Island) to get to level 15 Woodcutting. The best place to train is in Varrock along or south of the Grand Exchange. The bronze hatchet can be used but for 28 RuneScape gold an iron hatchet can be bought on the Grand Exchange. Fill an inventory of logs and sell on the grand exchange. The inventory of logs puts you over level 6 in woodcutting, allowing you to use a steel hatchet. Steel hatchets sell for 10 RuneScape gold, obtainable by selling 3-4 normal logs. Fill two more full inventories of logs and start on your third. You should hit level 15 halfway through that inventory. 96 logs earn you between 2500-4000 runescape gold. Burning 60 of those logs puts you at level 15 firemaking.

RuneScape Level 15-30 F2P Woodcutting Training: Oak Trees: Cut Oak Trees. Good locations include a tree west of the East Falador bank, east of the East Varrock bank, west of the East Varrock bank, west of the west Varrock bank, and east of the Draynor bank that is the closest but sometimes used by other players. RuneScape players can use a mithril hatchet at level 21 woodcutting. Mithril hatchets can be bought on the grand exchange for 235 RuneScape gold. Players need to chop 292 Oak Logs to hit level 30 woodcutting. The logs will net the player between 7,000-10,000 RuneScape gold. Burning 183 of the logs puts you at level 30 firemaking.

RuneScape Level 30-60 F2P Woodcutting Training: Willow Trees: There is no market for willow logs; some players have managed to sell the logs by leaving them on the grand exchange for a couple weeks. At 18 RuneScape gold each, willow logs are not a good source of income. Firemaking is the recommended use for willow logs, although banking the willow logs for training fletching is also recommended should the F2P RuneScape player plan on becoming a member. There is one willow tree by the Edgeville bank and a grove by the Draynor Village bank.

Player competition in Draynor makes it difficult to level fast, however the grove of willows by the Port Sarim spirit tree patch and the willows by the lake west of Farmer Fred’s have good firemaking areas nearby. It is possible to light a line of 44 straight fires if you chop the willows on the south side of the pond, then run east until you hit the fence to the sheep. There should be the fence of the onion patch to your north and the sheep on your east. Take one step south from the corner and start your fire line. You will run out of logs at the willow tree you started at. F2P RuneScape players need to chop 3,858 willow logs to hit level 60. Burning the logs will get you well into level 62 firemaking.

An Adamant hatchet can be bought on the grand exchange for around 700 RuneScape gold and can be used at level 31 woodcutting. It is recommended to buy a Rune hatchet for level 41 woodcutting. Rune hatchets sell on the grand exchange for between 7.5-8.5K runescape money.

RuneScape Level 30-60 F2P Woodcutting Training: Oak Trees: Should you decide to stick with oak for the cash, you will make more RuneScape gold but the experience will come slower. Once level 30 firemaking is attained, Oak should not be burnt, as willow is a faster and cheaper alternative. To get from level 30-60 using oak, 6,944 logs need to be chopped. The logs will net you between 173k and 243k RuneScape gold.

RuneScape Level 60+ F2P Woodcutting Training: RuneScape players can cut yew logs now but the logs come slow for players under level 80 in woodcutting. Yew trees are one of the best ways to make runescape gold in F2P so most yew trees are usually crowded. Willow remains the fastest method to train while yew is slow experience while making good RuneScape gold. Although players can usually expect to make around 50k-75k an hour chopping yew, an empty world, high woodcutting level, or inflated yew log prices can allow for greater earning potential.

Runescape Items you will need:
-Patience (Fishing isn't one of the fastest skills in the game)
-1 Crayfish Cage
-1 Fishing Rod
-250 Fishing Bait
-1 Fly Fishing Rod
-10k Feathers to start off (If you have more buy them. I suggest not to buy more than 10k Feathers at a time incase you change your mind)

Hurry along to the Grand Exchange and purchase these items. Once that is sorted out bank ALL of your items except for the Crayfish Cage, your 250 units of fishing bait and your 1 Fishing Rod. Once you have those 3 Items in your inventory, Head down to Lumbridge.

Levels 1-5/10

Since the update of the new Tutorial, Crayfish have been introduced. These fish are in fact faster than Shrimp. So head down to the Crayfish fishing location here:

Method:
1-Click the spot
2-Wait for your inventory to get full (Don't worry about the fishing rod and bait taking up extra space)
3-When your inventory is full
a. Run to the general store
b. Sell your fish
c. Start running back to the spot
d. Drop the gold from the fish along the way back to the spot
4. Repeat the steps above as needed. You may leave this spot at level 5, but I strongly recommend staying here until level 10.

Note: Level 1-10 should take no more than a few minutes.

Levels 5/10-20~
That wasn't so hard now was it? Now that you reached level 10 Fishing (or 5) you can start Ocean Bait Fishing. Start running to Draynor to the Bait fishing spot. Drop your Crayfish Cage along the way. The location is here:

Method:
1. Right click the fishing spot
2. Select "Bait-Fishing Spot"
3. Wait until your inventory is full
4. When your inventory is full
a. Run to Draynor Bank
b. Deposit your fish
c. Run back to the fishing spot
5. Repeat steps 1-5

You can fish here until level 20 or until all your bait is finished. I suggest staying here until no more than level 22. Leaving to the next location at level 20 is fine.

F2P Levels 20-99

Unfortunately I'm only am going to give one method for free players level 20 or higher in Fishing. The reason for this is because making runescape money by fishing for F2P players is a huge waste of time. If your F2P and need money, go cut yews. However, free players that wish to gain fast fishing xp can try this method.

If you haven't already, bank your items from Draynor and withdraw 1 Fly Fishing Rod and around 10k feathers. (Don't withdraw more than 10k incase you die). Head to the Barbarian Village Fly Fishing Spot here:

Method:
1. Hop to World 1
2. Fish a load of Fish
3. When you are full
a. You may walk north
b. Bank at Edgeville
c. Walk South
d. Repeat steps 2-3
4. Or you can do the faster way and
a. Start dropping your fish
b. While Dropping type in free raws over and over
c. Continue dropping
d. If someone trades you give them as many fish as you can
e. keep dropping if necessary
f. Repeat steps 2 & 4

Alternate Method
If you don't care about banking and don't like dropping try this.
Go Here:

1. Fish at the lumbridge Fly Fishing spot
2. When you are full run to the general store following the route shown.
3. Sell your fish as quickly as you can
4. Run back to the fishing spot
5. Drop your gold on your way back if you wish
6. Repeat steps 1-6

Members: Levels 20-68/70/99
Requirements: Must have completed Shilo Village Quest

Head to shilo via Cart or Walking. The Fishing Spots can be in these locations:

Note: These spots change VERY frequently. Stick to the spots south closest to bank and by the bridge if you can.

Method:
1. Withdraw your Fly Fishing Rod and feathers
2. Go Fish (I figure you should know this by now)
3. Go Bank(look above)
4. Repeat 2-4

Shilo Tips
1. You will average 30-38k xp/hr here depending mainly on your fishing level.
2. If you run short on feathers buy some at the fishing shop. If you dont have money note your fish and sell to the fishing shop in Shilo. Buy back feathers.
3. World 22 is the Shilo Fishing Player made guild CC- "w22 fish"

Should I stay?
Skillers are the only players that should stay here until level 99 to ensure fastest xp for your
runescape account. If you are lazy with paying concentration stay here at Shilo Village until level 99. You do not want to try Barbarian Heavy Rod Fishing if you can't concentrate. If you are here for making money fish here until 68 or so. Then go fish monks at Piscatoris Fishing Colony. (I will not go too in-depth with this but if you are here for efficient money fish monks as soon as you can for decent xp/money). If you think you can handle it and want the great fishing xp (40-55k xp/hr) along with pretty nice xp bonuses (1.1m str and agility xp from lvl 70-99 fishing and 1.5m cooking xp from lvl 70-99 fishing) then read on for the Barbarian Heavy Rod guide.

Levels 70-99 BARB FISHING FTW!

This is overall my favorite form of fishing. You will receive excellent fishing xp (40k/hr at lvl 70, 55k/hr at lvl 99) and decent strength, agility and cooking xp! You never need to bank. You can get lvl 70-99 with just 25 feathers!

BEFORE YOU START:
You must have these stats or bax falls will be a waste of time
70 Fishing
45 Strength
45 Agility
Don't ask why you need these stats. You need them and thats that.

First, rub your games necklace to Barbarian outpost and go here(bring 1 knife and 25 feathers to begin):

If you don't already have a Barbarian Rod talk to Otto and ask about fishing. He will then tell you to look under his bed. Get the rod and go fish.

Your inventory should look like this at first:

After you fish a load it should look like this:

Organize your fish in a similar way. This will help speed up the cutting process. (Note: the only thing you have to worry about organizing is the last 2 rows. and the fish on top of the knife)

Now you will have to be self-sufficient and make your own bait. Cut the fish up! =) To do so click the knife then click the fish under it. Repeat this as fast as you can . Do the same for the fish on the top. Now move the knife to the left 1 slot and cut the fish under there. Drop your offcuts (you may fish with offcuts if you are low on bait. otherwise just drop and get more runescape gold)

Continue to fish in this matter.

Runescape Powerleveling Guides > Fastest Way to Obtain Level 99 Woodcutting in Runescape

runescape? Or just want something to brag about on the Hi-Scores? Well then you've found the right place to obtain one of the easiest and fastest skill capes available: Woodcutting skill cape. That's right, let me show you how to obtain 99 woodcutting in as little as a week.

First let's start with the gear.
Axe (Always carry/weild the best axe for your level)
Lumberjack Clothing (optional/members - adds 2.5% per log if wearing full set)
Strung Rabbit's Foot (optional/members - better chance of nest drop)

Method 1
Level 1-25

Ahh the starting point for all great woodcutters! Make sure you have everything banked except for the gear mentioned above. Start by running to the Draynor forest which is east of Draynor village. You should find MANY normal trees around to cut. After completing a full inventory it is up to you to decide whether you want to bank them in Draynor or Lumbridge, or drop them (Drop them for faster exp or bank for profit). It will take 12 inventories full to achieve level 25 woodcutting.

25-41

Now your getting on your feet and learning how to really chop that wood. Your going to need to upgrade to oak trees. Hopefully you've also upgraded your axe to a mithril hatchet. There are a couple in Draynor, a bit north of the bank. There are also a few below the Grand Exchange that hardly anyone ever chops. Once again chop these logs and bank them this time (as the bank is closer and it would be faster than dropping). It will take 41 inventories to achieve level 41.

41-99

Now your really going! Your first priority is to buy a rune hatchet. After this you'll head back over to Draynor, there you will find a few willow trees standing just south of the bank, get comfortable with this place as you'll be seeing a lot of it. This is where you will obtain the most exp and runescape gold in the fastest way possible . Just chop the willow trees and bank the logs at the bank just north. To finally achieve 99 woodcutting you will have to chop 4,710 inventories of willow logs.

Tips:

Wear items that will decrease your weight so that you can run longer ex. Boots of Lightness
Listen to music, chat with friends, and take many breaks or else you may find yourself giving up half way.
If your member at level 61 you can upgrade to a dragon hatchet, very expensive but slightly faster than rune.
If your looking for another skill cape after willows, why not try firemaking? You'll have nearly enough willows to get to 99 firemaking by the time your done anyways, that is if you didn't sell them.

99 Woodcutting

After finally reaching 99 woodcutting you can purchase a woodcutting skill cape (members) by roaming through the trees north of Falador. The cape costs 99,000 gp.
At 99 woodcutting you can profit 80-90k by chopping yews with an average 28-32k exp an hour.
At 99 woodcutting you can profit 90-110k chopping magic logs with an average 18-22k exp an hour.

Congratulations and have fun showing off your new level 99 runescape account!

Runescape
Once you have the scrolls, the charms, the pouches, and the summoning points ready to summon, chances are the item will call for some secondary materials before it can be summoned. These summoning spells need extra ingredients that can typically be from drops, from purchasing on the Grand Exchange, or from careful foraging.

Non Stackable Charms

While these are called charms, they aren't typical in the way that other charms are and are considered "materials".Talon Beast Charm - These can be received in the minigames of Temple Trekking and Burgh de Rott Ramble.Abyssal Charm - These are drops from The Abyss creatures when killed.Obsidian Charm - These are drops from the TzHaar monsters when killed.Spinner, Torcher, Shifter, Ravager Charm - Purchased from the Void Knight Outpost.

Animal MaterialsVampire Dust - This is a drop from vampires throughout the area.
Unicorn Horn - This is a drop from the various unicorns throughout the area.
Yak Hide - The level 22 Yaks will drop yak hide when killed.
Honeycomb - Take some insect repellent and gather from the Catherby beehives.Polar Kebbit Fur - Catch with hunting skill (level 1) and drop by the polar kebbits.

Snake Hide - Bush snakes drop them, or skin a corpse in the Snake event.
Swamp Toad - As a drop from tortoises or found in swamps.
Tortoise Shell - Possible drop from tortoises.

This is a place where you can easily find the guide you're looking for. Secure runescape powerleveling and lots of runescape gold that we can offer you with faster service. If you've created a guide, you can copy and paste the template below for others to find and read.

Runescape Articles > Common Tasks from Runescape's Slayer Master Turael
0 Comments / Subscribe To Comments
Posted: Oct.23.2009 @ 10:59 am
Runescape is a wonderful and free mmorpg game that now has a HD setting for better graphics and play quality.

In all of the Runescape skill sets that you can level up (and there is no cap on how many skills you can level, in fact all are encouraged) the Slayer skill has several tasks that can be done to level it. These are given from a set of masters throughout the game and range from very easy to extremely difficult, depending on the master you are at.

These are the common tasks that you can get from Master Turael in Runescape. He can be found in a cottage near the Burthorpe south entrance. There are no requirements to doing these tasks and they are considered the easiest slayer tasks in the game. This is where you'll go for the beginning part of leveling up the Slayer ability for your runescape account.

Cave Bugs and Cave Slime - Turael may have you go off to slay these two. They are going to be found in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves.

Cows - These docile creatures may be on the chopping block. You can find these all over Runescape, usually in fenced in cow pens.

Birds - Thankfully, chickens will fall into this category. So you can go to any farm and slay chickens throughout the land of Runescape, or go to Ape Atoll.

Bears - Bears are another animal that may be on the list to slay. These are going to be in the Ardougne Mine or you can travel north of Falador to find them.

Banshees and Crawling Hands - These both are going to be found in the Canifis Slayer Tower. They are just one of many that Turael may give you to slay to level up your skill.

Bats - These flying creatures are another on the list. They are found in the Taverley Dungeon and all near the Keep La Faye.

Minotaurs - If Turael sends you to slay Minotaurs you'll have to go to the Stronghold of Security to get these done.

Zombies - Getting this one is pretty fun, who doesn't want to slay the undead? You'll find zombies in the Edgeville Dungeon.

Monkeys - Monkeys are found all over Ape Atoll and in Karamja Island.

Spiders - Getting spiders to kill will send you deep into the Varrock Sewers section of the map.

Skeletons - If he sends you to kill skeletons you'll have a variety of spots to choose from. Skeletons are going to be in the Draynor Manor, around the Karamja Volcano, and the Edgeville Dungeon.

Scorpions - Getting scorpions to slay for leveling will have you going to the Chasm Mine or the Barbarian Mine. They also are in Al Kharid. You can make more runescape gold there.

Wolves - Finding a wolf to slay is easy, just head up to the White Wolf Mountain and have your fill of hunting.

Goblins - If you are sent to slay goblins, you'll be finding these all around Kumbridge or by going to the Goblin Village.

Desert Lizards - Being told to slay desert lizards will have you going to the Kharidian Desert to find them.

Dogs - Cute and fun, he may send you to slaughter dogs. If that is the unfortunate case, you can find them more around Ardougne.

First off, let's find out what kind of pker you want to be.

There are soo many countless ways to succesfully pk in the world of Runescape. The most common way at a high level (60+) is known as a "strength pure". An account that usually gets 40, maybe 60 attack (corrupt (usually at a higher level)) low defence, 1-20, sometimes even 30, usually only 31 prayer, depends on defence level, and very high hp and strength, sometimes 40 range for hp levels and the ability to wear green dragonhide chaps, giving about +25 defence bonuses, unlike iron platelegs/skirt (+10? defence).

These are usually consisted of main accounts at level 75+, having 60 attack, 60 defence, and 70 strength. These runescape accounts are very succesful but very expensive. They use a very common method of pk, known as the quick switch method. They hit their target down to around 15- hp, their opponent eats a lobster, healing 12 (27- hp), you pull out a battle ax (rune or corrupt) or a rune 2h sword and whack them for a nice hit, killing them in a quick blow. This method is efficient, but expensive if you use a corrupt dragon battleaxe because of its pricings-3.5 million coins as of October 2009.

Next is known as the Range/2h. These Pkers are less often seen in the higher levels because of range being a "single" skill where you only need 1 level type to hit high and to use better items. Then they get 40/60 attack and 60+ strength to also use the quick switch method, but more instant than a strength pure's. Instead of using a scimitar or sword to deal the initial damage, they use a shortbow, much faster (about 1.5x faster when on rapid mode) and still able to hit very accurate and high. I was once pked by a range/2h while only eating one piece of food. They hit several 20+'s and pulled out a corrupt dragon battleax and KABOOM!! He koed me with a really scary 32 (this took about 15 seconds). But the cost of arrows really amounts to a lot of money, so this way is very expensive.

Now is the mage pure, usually found in the combat levels of 20-40 in nonmember worlds. Once their opponents can hit over 16, they are pretty much useless because fire blast, only able to hit a max hit of 16, will never be able to kill them, but at a lower level (25 for example), they can easily cast fire bolt and hit 12's whilst their opponents hitting 7's and 8's. They only train magic, sometimes defence or strength/attack (mage/2h, usually pjers).

Now time to teach you how to make or become a pker with an interesting formula that works about 90% of the time, you may want to have a calculator beside you when you get to a higher runescape powerleveling.

Strength Pures- 1.5(Attack level)=strength level, (.05-.2)Strength level+(.05)attack level=defence level, range= 40

Range/2h- Range within 10 levels lower than hp or higher, (1.4 for when you only have under 60 attack, 1.1 when 60 attack+)(attack level)=Strength level, (.95)strength level=range level

As we all know mage in RuneScape is just bad. Well I have an idea to fix it easily and make it more usable. Make a magic that does not require runes. This magic requires incantations or special words to be said to work. To make it fair the incantations are on pieces of paper which are scattered across the world. Each incantation has 20 pieces to it and all 20 pieces need to be found.

Once all are found the player needs to put them together like a puzzle. The player can then use the incantation and use it. The pieces are hard to find so this makes up for endless use. Also the max damage the incantations can do is 20 but they can be used over and over. This would allow players to have magic be a more useful combat style as without needing runes they can save runescape gold. The pieces of paper can be found by using a spade and digging, searching crates, drawers and chest or by killing enemies of all kind. This would give the first two a use again and make it interesting.

Runescape. First you need to work yourself up to get the millions, What you do is with about 60+ str kill flesh crawlers and start fishing. Once you have 300 k cash start tanning Green d hide; Which after tanned will be called green leather.

Math:

300 000 spent on supplies.

Around 500 green d hides can be tanned every 15 mins.

Buy green d hide at med, Which would cost 1698 ea. Which will get you about 177 which you can do in like 2 mins. You sell the green d hide back for 1850 ea, A little below med price. Which is 327 000 thats 27 000 in 2 mins!.

Ok here comes the big bucks. Once you have 3 396 000 gp buy 1998 green d hide tan them and sell back for 3 700 000 guess how much cash that is an hour.

3 396 000 - 3 700 000= 304 000

Wow thats 304000 an hour! Well done.! I use this way alot if you did this for 2 hours a day thats 608 000 a day for 1 week and u'll have 4 256 000 a week.In one month thats about 18.8 m around the same amount as rcing until your lvl 91 rcing. Hope this helps since it takes no skill. I would say this is better then rcing, since theirs no revants or any abysal creatures. Plus you need no requirements except the cash to spend.

Warning:

Please remember to have about 45 k left over to tan 2 k green d hide in 1 hour. And remember to have varrock tele tabs and ring of dueling ( its not necarily but it makes it go faster.)

Say thank you if you think this is a good gudie by.

The following are some tips to earn some easy runescape money:

(1) Through mining

-PART 1-
Get your mining level to lv115 1st,If your going for the easy way,Get your mining level to 60 (mine only irons)You'll have about 7822 iron ores. You can sell your iron ores for 100gp each and that'll earn you around 770k-800k

-PART 2-
If you're going for the tougher task,
Like in part 1,get your mining to 15 but after 30 start to mine coals
From my calculation:
The iron ores between level 15-30 + coals between lv30-60 will let u make this amount : 780k to 950k (If u sell the iron ores for 100gp each and coal for 150-180gp each)

Notes: Remember to change your pickaxe whenever the requirements hits, this'll help a lot as the speed for getting ores will be faster..
Notes: As you get to level 60 mining, you can go ahead n proceed to the mining guild to get more ores...
Notes: Smithing wont be so much of earning when it's below 70, after 70 you can make more then 20k at once easily...

-PART 3-
You can also earn easy money through ores but u need starting money, just around 100k will do..All u have to do is to buy coal(example) 100-120gp each from people and sell it at a higher price (example:150gp each for 1-500 coals,180gp each if u have tons of coals)

(2)Through Magic

-PART 1-
The best way for making
runescape gold in magic perhaps is through runecrafting...The higher the level of runecrafting, the more money you'll obtain...For starters: The Best way is to runecraft air runes...Air altar is located outside south of the entrance to falador and a bank is near. You can try to sell the air runes for 15-20gp each which most of the rich guy buy them at...

-PART 2 & PART 3-(Tips tat need a lot of money)
2nd way is to get a capital of at least 220k..All u need to do is stay in the runes shop and buy runes.Buy chaos and death runes and proceed to world with a larger population to sell your runes (chaos 120-150gp each, death-260-300gp each)

REQUIREMENTS FOR PART 3: Level 55 magic level
This tip also requires money because you'll be buying rune med for high level alchemy
Buy rune med from player 10k each and nature rune 200-300gp each
After high level alchemy you'll obtain 11520gp,you will get 1220 or 1320gp more profit for each high level alchemy…

(3)Through woodcutting
-PART 1-
Woodcutting is perhaps the easiest money earning skills to train on.All you need is chop till your woodcutting gets higher than 60.Once u reach level 60-woodcutting, you'll have like 4056 willows...sell them for 30gp each n you'll get between 120k -122k of cash.At level 60 woodcutting, you can start to woodcutting yews but it'll be quite slow so u need to put in some effort to get yr woodcutting level higher for faster yew logs.Sell your yew logs between these ranges: 300-375gp each

-PART 2-
Again, this part is about Merchanting. All you need is money of 250k or more.Buy yews from other players at 250gp each and sell others for more like 300-375gp each

-PART 3-
If u happens to be a member, it'll be great for you.You can fletch your logs to make more
runescape money. When you can fletch yew logs, try to high level alchemy them you'll gain quite a big amount of money rather than selling them to shops. You can also make runescape gold by buying rune plate bodies for 60-70k and selling for 80-90k.
