To start off this is the method I used once i started Runescape after 5 years of playing World of Warcraft. I got ot lvl 60+ on two character both memebers in less than a week, and i play a lot. So here it is

Cows

Kill these animal for one thing:

Cowhide—which go for about 200 gold pieces each!

Bones and raw meat are good to level up your prayer and cooking which i did. I got 35 prayer from cows alone!!!

Location:

best place that most people are aware of is south of Falador. Check your map if your new to the game. It is north west of Lumbridge by a lot. There is a farm South-East of the city gate where they are a lot of cows. It it a closer to the bank and has less people.

I would kill these cow until you got either 40 defense, 40 attack, 40 strength or 40 range, or 40 maguc because by then you can almost oen shot them and it one if not fastest ways to level because you don;t ever have to leave because you can cook yout own food. There is a fireplace in the farm south of cthe cow fields.

Hill Giants

Kill these guys for a few things:

Big bones—they sell for about 500 runescape gold pieces each!!!

Runes—various kinds mostly nature, fire,water,cosmic

Limpurt Root—these root sell for an amazing 1,500 gold pieces each

You can either bank the big bones or bury them. It your choice. I sold them to get my full rune set.

Location:

best place is edgeville dugoen. TO get there you need to go to edgeville and south of it there a dugoen entrance and go there until u find hill gaints. It like a 3 minute walk. Before you find the gaints there a circular room with a brass key. Get the key for a shortcut. Best way to get to this palce is from varrock. North-west of varrock there shed that you cannot get into unless you have a brass key.

I would kill these guy until you have either 50 or 60 and even possible but rarly 70 in your desired stats. I would say 60.

Next part is super easy either kill fire gaints which you need thr waterfall quest done find out about that or kill moss gaints.Moss gaints are located in varrock sewers or North west of adrouge.

After you hit lvl 70 combat or 80 go kill dragon for runescape money ENJOY.

First let's start with the gear.
Axe (Always carry/weild the best axe for your level)
Lumberjack Clothing (optional/members - adds 2.5% per log if wearing full set)
Strung Rabbit's Foot (optional/members - better chance of nest drop)

Method 1
Level 1-25

Ahh the starting point for all great woodcutters! Make sure you have everything banked except for the gear mentioned above. Start by running to the Draynor forest which is east of Draynor village. You should find MANY normal trees around to cut. After completing a full inventory it is up to you to decide whether you want to bank them in Draynor or Lumbridge, or drop them (Drop them for faster exp or bank for profit). It will take 12 inventories full to achieve level 25 woodcutting.

25-41

Now your getting on your feet and learning how to really chop that wood. Your going to need to upgrade to oak trees. Hopefully you've also upgraded your axe to a mithril hatchet. There are a couple in Draynor, a bit north of the bank. There are also a few below the Grand Exchange that hardly anyone ever chops. Once again chop these logs and bank them this time (as the bank is closer and it would be faster than dropping). It will take 41 inventories to achieve level 41.

41-99

Now your really going! Your first priority is to buy a rune hatchet. After this you'll head back over to Draynor, there you will find a few willow trees standing just south of the bank, get comfortable with this place as you'll be seeing a lot of it. This is where you will obtain the most exp and runescape gold in the fastest way possible . Just chop the willow trees and bank the logs at the bank just north. To finally achieve 99 woodcutting you will have to chop 4,710 inventories of willow logs.

Tips:

Wear items that will decrease your weight so that you can run longer ex. Boots of Lightness
Listen to music, chat with friends, and take many breaks or else you may find yourself giving up half way.
If your member at level 61 you can upgrade to a dragon hatchet, very expensive but slightly faster than rune.
If your looking for another skill cape after willows, why not try firemaking? You'll have nearly enough willows to get to 99 firemaking by the time your done anyways, that is if you didn't sell them.

99 Woodcutting

After finally reaching 99 woodcutting you can purchase a woodcutting skill cape (members) by roaming through the trees north of Falador. The cape costs 99,000 gp.
At 99 woodcutting you can profit 80-90k by chopping yews with an average 28-32k exp an hour.
At 99 woodcutting you can profit 90-110k chopping magic logs with an average 18-22k exp an hour.

So if you are in the range of level 70s your stats should be about this. Around 55 to 60 strength. 50 to 55 def. And 60 attack Defence should always be lowest unless you keep your stats even. Or if you like to be a player killer(pk-er), Strength highest, attack low, and defence lowest. Now lets start the guide.

For level 70-79

First. You want to get your Strength up. What u want to do is train on something good. Bring food. Your training on Ankous. For members, this will be a great money source also. You want to train until 75 strength.

For combat level 70-79s, the maximum level you should get is 81 to 82 with runescape power leveling. After getting 75 strength, you want to get a good attack for higher leveled weapons so you can hit higher. Get your attack up to about 75. This can make you wield the Abyssal Whip, also a god-sword, which will make you hit very high. With 75 strength you can hit about 23 with whip. With god-sword, you can hit about 27 to 28 which is great for the level You have. The maximum level you can get to from doing this is probably around 83 to 84.

Now for defence. Defence is going to boost you about 5 levels. You want to get your defence high so you will get hit less so you don't die as easy. You want to train to level 70 to 75 defence. I recommend 70 defence so you don't get too high in defence. If your not level 90 yet, keep training strength until 85. If your not 90 then get defence to 75.

For level 80-89

This should be much less time to get to level 90 because your a higher level. But you do want to train on Ankous or Dragons. Dragons are great experience and good for this level. At this level you should have 65 to 70 strength.

You want to train your strength to 80 to 85. I RECOMMEND 85 you do not have to do it. After getting 80 to 85 strength. The max level you can get from this is 83 to 91. If you are over 90 do not stop looking at this guide because it can help you get even higher. After getting your strength up, attack is very big in this. At the level your at, you should have 65 to 70.

You want to get this to 75. If you already have 75 attack, then skip this step, that doesn't matter right now. After getting the 75 attack if you didn't have it already your level should be 92 to 93 at the max.

The fact is that there are not many shortcuts when it comes to leveling up in mining. Even to reach level 70 you need to either go to the Mining Guild and mine coal forever or powermine iron ore. For those who aren't familiar with powermining, it is the process of mining iron and either banking it or dropping it as fast as you can. You are mostly concerned with getting as much experience as you can in the least amount of time. For this to be efficient you need a rune pickaxe and about 45+ in mining. With this method you can average about 20k experience an hour with about level 65 or so, varying depending on your mining level.

However there are ways to increase your exp/hour quite a bit if you are willing to sacrifice the profits from selling the iron and be willing to concentrate more on your task. First I suggest you find two iron rocks that are hardly ever used. Personally I suggest the two rocks in the Dwarven mine in Falador (Go in the entrance by the Party Room and go North, just around the corner to the West). Now make sure you are on a world that has a high population so the respawn rate is high enought that you are not waiting for the next rock very long.

Now you are ready to actually mine the iron. Get to the point where you can mine both rocks without having to move. Now mine the first rock. Then click on the second rock to begin mining it. As soon as you click the second rock right click on the first ore in your inventory and drop it as soon as you sucessfully mine the second rock. Once you dropped that rock, click to mine another ore and right click and drop one from your inventory as soon as you mine it.

This method will seem confusing at first, but once you have it down you will realize that it is much faster. It takes about 2 minutes or so to mine a load of iron and about 30 seconds to drop it all. This method completely takes out the drop time, making it about 20-25% more Runescape Gold. efficient than powermining. So if you average 20k exp/hour, with this method you will average 25-30k exp/hour.

If you let others do the work for you or you use a program to cheat at it, then you loose the true fun of the game. Think about if everyone cheated at Runescape, would it be any fun anymore? No, it would not be, because you would have all your stats to 99, all the items you ever wanted, sure, this seems nice, but so would everyone else in Runescape. So there would be no Player Killing because you would not be able to kill each other, it would just be a never-ending battle. Training your stats without cheating is half the fun of Runescape.

Here are some tips to help you train your stats;

1. If you are after a certain level, do not do anything else in Runescape before you have it. If you stop training it might be a month before you start again.

2. Stay positive. If you know you can do it, then you will. Negativity will only slow you down.

3. Break up your goal into several smaller ones. Such as, if you are wanting level 60 attack and you are level 50 attack, and then break it down to every 2 levels, with breaks in between. It can take a little longer like this, but at least you wont be sitting there bored.

4. Never give up. If you give up you will never reach your goal.

Sure, most of those are just common knowledge, but if you follow them then you will go far. Remember, if you really want it, you should work twice as hard to get it.

Training it yourself is a lot harder than paying someone to do it or cheating, but you will feel a lot better after it is all done if you did it yourself. If you let someone train your stats to 99, sure you will be jumping around for a little while, but if you trained it yourself, there is no comparison. When you look at the stat and know you did that all by yourself, it is a lot better than looking at it and knowing you cheated to get it. If that is not enough to convince you, think of it like this.

Let’s say you pay someone a lot of money to get you to level 100. They tell you it will take one week and to not log on until then.
