| runescape account . Warning; contains spoilers. Ernest the Chicken quest can be frustrating. Here is a comprehensive, easy to follow guide to doing Ernest the Chicken Quest. Ernest the Chicken Quest involves solving three puzzling situations to obtain RuneScape items. The most frustrating puzzle is an underground RuneScape maze that involves solving a difficult order of lock combinations. Here is the guide for Ernest the Chicken quest.
Ernest the Chicken Quest Guide; Summary of Ernest the Chicken Quest:
In Ernest the chicken quest, the RuneScape character Veronica is disturbed because her fiancé vanished. Appearently, he got lost in Draynor Manor. Your job in Ernest the Chicken Quest is to rescue him.
Ernest the Chicken quest is a medium length RuneScape quest and requires no RuneScape skill except dodging a level 22 skeleton. The RuneScape items you need for Ernest the Chicken Quest are spade, poison, fish food, rubber tube, and oilcan. These items are inside Draynor Manor and can be picked up during the Ernest the chicken quest.
Ernest the Chicken Quest Guide; Starting the Ernest the Chicken Quest:
Start Ernest the chicken quest by talking with Veronica. Veronica is found at the Draynor manor gate, on the southern end of the estate. When you talk to Veronica, Veronica will express concern over her missing fiancé. Tell Veronica you will help find him.
Head up the path and enter the main door. Although you cannot exit by this entrance, you can enter and exit at through a side door on the east. Head up two staircases. There you will see Professor Oddenstein. When you talk to him, you will need to ask about Ernest the chicken. The long and short of it is that Ernest the chicken needs to be turned back into a man and you need to find a rubber tube, an oilcan, and a pressure gauge that were stolen from the professor’s machine.
Ernest the Chicken Quest Guide; Obtaining the Rubber Tube:
It doesn’t matter which item in the Ernest the Chicken quest you obtain first. So in this guide, I will start with the rubber tube. The rubber tube is in a locked room with a level 22 skeleton, and you need to find the key. Head to the east end of the first floor (where the red dots are) and take the spade. Exit through the door and go to the west side of the estate. There is a compost pile between the farming patches. Search the compost and uncover the key. Backtrack inside to the room by the stairs. Open the door, grab the rubber tube, and leave.
Ernest the Chicken Quest Guide; Obtaining the Oilcan:
Now lets get the oilcan. This part of the Ernest the chicken quest is easier with the new Runescape animations. It is a RuneScape maze with different levers that open or close different doors. The doors that are open look ajar with the new RuneScape animations, very helpful in doing the Ernest the chicken quest!
To get to this maze with these doors, you need to get to the basement. Go to the southwest corner of Draynor manor; the room with the ladder is walled off. You will need to search a bookcase on the west wall of the adjacent room in order to enter this room.
Start by pulling levers A and B, in the main room. There are two doors on the north side of this room; go through the door on the right side. In this room are levers C and D. Pull only lever D, then exit the left door of the west wall. Enter the main room again through the south door and pull levers A and B again.
Exit back through the left door on the northern wall. Open the west door to enter the adjacent room, and exit through the north door to reach more levers. Pull levers E and F. Go through two east doors to return to the room that contains levers C and D. This time, pull only lever C and then return to the room containing levers E and F through the same doors, now west side doors. Pull lever E, then exit through the east door. Open and pass through two south side doors to return to the main room. Open the west door to enter the room and take the oilcan. Exit the room, climb the ladder, and pull the lever on the wall to open the bookcase.
Ernest the Chicken Quest Guide, Obtaining the Pressure Gauge to complete Ernest the Chicken Quest:
Now you need to obtain the pressure gauge. In a small room east of the basement entrance is a bottle of poison. Take the poison, then head upstairs. You will see a red dot on the minimap south of the staircase; take the fish food there and use the poison with it. Then exit the mansion and head to the southwest corner of the estate where you will find a fountain with vicious fish. Feed the fish in the fountain with the poisoned food. When the fish are dead, search the fountain to obtain the pressure gauge. Complete the Ernest the chicken quest by giving the three items to the professor. The professor turns Ernest the chicken back into a human.
Ernest the Chicken Quest Guide; Quest Spoilers:
Here are the spoilers of the Ernest the Chicken quest. The Ernest the chicken quest gives you 300 pieces of Runescape gold and four RuneScape quest points. Because you need 33 RuneScape quest points to enter the Champion’s guild and start Dragon Slayer, it’s advantageous to do Ernest the Chicken quest to obtain the four quest points. |

| Runescape, what happens to them and what someone will do once they become addicted to Runescape to play Runescape. Some people get addicted to Runescape, then will do anything to level up their runescape accounts. This is how the process goes: You start playing Runescape and its really fun, your a level 3 or 4 and you have pretty bad levels but your having fun, which is what the game is about.
But then comes the greed. You see players with shiny amour and lots of runescape gold, with levels way higher than you. And you suddenly want to get all that cool stuff! So you go and spend hours on end each day mining to or woodcutting to get that sort of money.
After days and days you earn your first 10k, and your so happy! You go to the grand exchange and buy expensive amour only to find you can't wear it at level 3. So you go to the cow paddock and start the long haul of training to get your combat level up.
After a while it gets boring, but you have found out all the cool stuff members can do, so you go and beg your parents to get membership, they may disagree but you keep trying and trying until you get it somehow.
The Second Stage - Membership Membership is so great! You can pickpocket, you have double the map, you can go into members worlds, you can have 200 people on your friends list, its all fun again. For about three to five months, then your back to slaving away mining or woodcutting, trying to make two pennies to rub together to buy all the cool members stuff.
Thats how Jagex reel you in, the sole purpose of the free world is so you get a bite of it, then you find out what members is like, so you buy it. Then your hooked! A good way to not get addicted is this: if your not having fun playing, then stop playing.
Then, before they know it they will do anything to level up their runescape accounts. And doing to manually is both boring and time consuming. So quite a lot of people may download a macron to get their levels up for them. Though this puts the account in danger as Jagex can detect any macron so your account can be banned forever!
The other option for fast leveling up is to pay a power leveling site to do it for you. This can cost up to hundreds of dollars but some addicted people will pay the price for a high leveled account.
The Truth Behind Power Leveling Services Power Leveling is where you pay someone to power leveling your account, getting its levels up fast. But its not the people who own the power leveling websites that are training up your account, its done in sweatshops in China! (As well as other overseas places)
So, instead of making plastic junk for the first world countries they level up people's runescape accounts, which is much worse. Its a game and its meant to be ENJOYED by people, not played by someone in China for 2¢ an hour!
The reason that people in Chinese sweatshops do the power leveling is because its very cheap. The people that own these power leveling websites don't want to spend 14 hours a day on Runescape so the cheap and easy option is Chinese labour.
I chatted online with a staff member of a power leveling site and they said that they don't do the runescape power leveling and its done overseas. (There a some other articles on the internet that say the same thing as this)
So Runescape can be fun if you don't let yourself be taken over by it. Remember, if your not enjoying it: Stop playing it! |

| Runescape, but one with a lot of possibilities. It can boost the power of many ranged weapons when used to make ammunition. It is easy to make a ranged based Runescape character, but to get the full benefit from the combat options using the bow and arrows, darts, or crossbows in Runescape, a character must learn how to make his own ammunition and bows.
There is more to the bow than just firing it at the enemy in Runescape. The following guide will take the player through the basics of what he needs to know about the fletching skill. All skills in Runescape follow a simple pattern of using the skill to gain experience and gaining levels in the skill after a certain experience threshold has been reached.
Like many of the skills in runescape account, a characters gains experience by using it. Higher fletching skill allows a character to make better bows and arrows. Woodcutting and smithing complement this trade skill nicely.
Making Arrow Shafts in Runescape The process for making arrow shafts and bows is similar. To start making arrows or a bow, a Runescape characters needs logs to cut into shafts or the bow staff. Once he takes a knife to the log that will become a shaft, he must apply arrows to the shaft to earn fletching experience. Using higher quality wood results in better quality ammunition. Darts can be made through a similar process, but a player must complete a quest called The Tourist Trap.
Crossbow bolts cannot be made using the fletching skill, but a player can use the fletching skill to apply tips to the ends of bolts that increase the damage he can deal with a crossbow.
Using Fletching to Make Bows The process character used to make a bow differs from the one to make arrows because instead of attaching feathers, the player must attach a bow string. A character mus use flax to create a bowstring. The arrow creation process gives a character fletching experience as soon as the arrow as completed, but experience is gained in two steps when fletching is used to make a bow. You gain experience from making bows in two parts. The first half is received when the bow is made and the second is made when the string is attached.
You will need to make the string however. This is done by spinning flax that can be found south of the Seers' Village, according to the Global Runescape powerleveling website. The higher the quality of the wood used to make a bow and arrow, the higher quality the end product will be.
The progression of bows and the total experience gained from crafting each can be found below.
Shortbow – 15 Longbow – 20 Oak Shortbow – 33 Oak Longbow – 50 Willow Shortbow – 66.5 Willow Longbow – 83 Maple Shortbow – 100 Maple Longbow – 116.5 Yew Shortbow – 135 Yew Longbow – 150 Magic Shortbow – 166.5 Magic Longbow – 183 If a character does not have the required fletching level to make one of these bows, the Runescape client will tell him before he attempts to make a bow, arrow, or darts.
Bows in Runescape Can be Used to Gain Magic Experience Fletching can be used to make bows and arrows, but a Runescape character can also magic experience from used bows if he knows the procedure. Using a bow to gain way falls outside of the scope of this fletching guide. Fletching can be a runescape gold maker, but its most important use is to boost the damge of the weapons a person uses.

| Runescape as it is in other fantasy settings The mage look in an mmorpg is not complete without a staff and a pointy hat. Runescape characters have easy access to pointed hats, but have an advantage if they can make an elmental battlestaff using the crafting trade skill.
A Runescape character can buy the pointy hat, but a true player and one who believes in having a well-rounded character for role-playing reasons should craft his staff. Just remember to follow the advice of Discworld author Terry Pratchett and make sure to put a knob on the end of any staff made using the crafting skill.
Materials Needed for Elemental and Mystic Staff Crafting in Runescape Free members are out of luck if they want to craft a stylish staff on their own. They must rely on paid members to do it, but paid members still need to gahter the necessary materails to make mystic staffs with their crafting skill. A runescape account character needs to gather the following item before he can begin crafting a staff.
A Battlestaff from a vendor An Unpowered Orb 3 Cosmic Runes 30 Runes of the type of staff the character wants to make A High Crafting Skill Start Elmental Staff Crafting at Skill Level 54 Runescape staff crafting is not something to start raising your crafting skill level with. Weilding an elemental staff or a mystic staff effectively requires a high magic skill, according to the Runescape tips websites. Any staff crafting process in runescape power leveling begins with the purchase of a battlestaff from a non-player character vendor.
The number of staves a person can make in a single day is limited to how many staves the people who operate the required shops in Runescape sell them for. The lower limit starts out at 8 and caps out at 64.
When a Runescape character assembles and comiples the necessary ingrients, he becomes the proud owner of a new elemental battlestaff. The staff is good, but the best stats are obtained by enchanting the elmental battle staff at the residence of Thromac the sorceror.
Finish the Crafting Attempt by Creating a Mystic Battlestaff The elemental staff is a bold fashion statement for any Runescape mage, but true greatness is not achieved until the staff is enchanted by a sorceror to have the best possible combat stats. A crafting character cannot just find a sorceror character to have it enchanted, he must seek out an NPC that lives in a tower, in the grand tradion of fantasy cliches.
Thormac the sorceror resides in Catherby. The Runescape crafting character willing to make the trip and climb up the long steps can find him there. Thormac will enchant an elemental staff for th reasonable price of 40,000 runescape gold pieces. The finished product becomes a mystic battlestaff, and the enchanting process improves the crafted staff's melee stats.

| Runescape gives players the option of using divine magic and rune magic. Any fantasy RPG would not be the same without some form of magic. Runescape is no exception to this rule. A Runescape character who wishes to harness the arcane energies that fuel the magic of the world must collect and gather runes.
Offensive and teleportation magic is cast by using using rune combinations. This differs from prayer magic, which is a set list of abilities that a character knows. Many Runescape runes can be made by players with the Runecrafting skill, although the runes neccessary for magic can spells also be purchased or found on monsters.
What Magic Spells can a Runescape Character Cast? Because there are many possible combinations of runes that can produce a magic spell in Runescape, a comprehensive list of them is not possible. The Runescape client lets a player know if he has the required runes to cast a spell. If a character has the runes for a magic spell, he can click on the appropriate icon to cast it. The required runes are then consume. A brief list of Runescape magic spells available to free Runescape players is found runescape gold below.
Home Teleport – No Runes Required Air Strike – 1 Air, 1 Mind Confuse – 3 Water, 2 Earth, 1 Body Water Strike -- 1 Water, 1 Air, 1 Mind Enchant Jewelry – 1 Water, 1 Cosmic Weaken – 3 Water, 2 Earth 1 Body Fire Strike – 2 Air, 3 Fire, 1 Mind Bones to Bananas -- 2 Earth, 2 Water 1 Nature Wind Bolt – 2 Air, 1 Chaos Should a Character Pay for Runes for his Magic Spells? If a Runescape character wishes to play a mighty wizard, runes can help the character further that goal, but using magic it is not the only path to fame and glory in the popular free mmorpg. Runescape characters can use many combat skills, including ranged skills and many skills related to melee weapons.
Joining the mage's guild can reduce the cost of runesbought off of merchants, but it is not necessary for a Runescape player to dedicate himself to one specific skill, A full list of the magic spells available to Runescape characters, including to paid members can be found on the Global Runescape and the Runescape Tips web sites.
Runescape Magic at Its Best and Worst The magical system of Runescape is more flexible than it is in many other mmorpgs that lock a character into one class at creation and the abilities the character learns are based on that initial choice, but every magic spell in Runescape requires components.
Even if a player takes up the trade skill that lets him make the material needed to power his arcane efforts, he will eventually run out of runes and have to rely on another runescape account combat skill. This means that a Runescape character should be a little more well rounded than the offerings a person would find in many of the commercial mmorpgs. |

| Runescape player benefits from learning these RuneScape fishing methods. Barbarian fishing is a unique method of RuneScape fishing available only to members of RuneScape. Many RuneScape players prefer to powerlevel their fishing through barbarian fishing. Here is a look at the requirements, techniques, drawbacks, and benefits of powerleveling fishing in RuneScape by barbarian fishing.
In barbarian fishing, the fish that are caught are not the normal RuneScape food source, but rather are the source of roe and caviar, ingredients in barbarian potions. There is another type of barbarian fishing in RuneScape, barehanded fishing. Although most of this article will deal with catching leaping fish, I will briefly cover barehanded fishing afterwards.
What types of RuneScape fish can you catch using barbarian fishing?
The three types of RuneScape Fish you can catch are leaping trout, leaping salmon, and leaping sturgeon. Leaping trout sometimes produces fish offcuts and roe when filleted. Leaping Salmon provides fish offcuts and roe more often. Leaping sturgeon produces caviar and fish offcuts. Barbarian fishing requires a heavy rod to fish with. Heavy rods are non-tradable but respawn under the bed in Otto Godblessed’s house.
What RuneScape experience does Barbarian Fishing offer?
For every leaping trout you catch in RuneScape, you gain five agility experience and five strength experience in addition to the 50 fishing experience from normal trout. For each leaping salmon you catch in RuneScape, you gain six agility experience and six strength experience in addition to the 70 fishing experience from catching normal salmon. Successful filleting of either of these fish (roe and fish cuts or just roe) gives you ten cooking experience. For every leaping sturgeon you catch in RuneScape, you gain seven agility experience, seven strength experience, and eighty fishing experience. A successful fillet produces 15 cooking experience.
What levels in what RuneScape skills are required before barbarian fishing?
In order to catch leaping trout, you will need to have level 48 fishing along with level 15 strength and level 15 agility. Catching leaping salmon requires level 58 fishing along with level 30 in strength and agility. Leaping sturgeon can be caught once the RuneScape player has attained level 70 fishing, level 45 strength, and level 45 agility.
What are the best ways to train RuneScape levels in order to do barbarian fishing?
Most players probably have a high strength level already. Using an aggressive attack style allows a RuneScape player to train strength. Train fishing by catching either crayfish or shrimps until level five, where you also have the option of bait fishing. At level 15, you can catch anchovies by small net fishing if you want to make some runescape gold. At level 20, begin lure fishing for trout and salmon; this is the best way to train fishing the rest of the way.
Agility is the tough one. Use the gnome course repeatedly until you hit level 15. At level 15 you have two options. Either catch roughly 2,200 leaping trout or do roughly 130 more treks around the agility course. Since trout do not provide enough bait to sustain a supply, you are best buying feathers (6 RuneScape gold each) or fishing bait (2-3 RuneScape gold.) You can either drop or gut the trout, if gutting, save only the offcuts. You can also use experience lamps and do quests that offer a reward of Agility experience. Do the circus weekly also to gain fast experience from the tightrope.
By walking or games-necklace teleporting back to the barbarian outpost, you can bank the caviar, which sells for between 200-400 gold each. Offcuts and roe are not worth the time unless you are using the roe to train herblore. The best way to powerlevel fishing in the game for levels 70-99 is to bring a stack of fishing bait and drop the fish without bothering to gut. Expect a game update to allow purchasing more than 100 offcuts every four hours, until then fishing bait is the best way to go.
You can also catch fish barehanded. You can catch Tuna at level 55 fishing with 35 strength. At 70 fishing, you can catch swordfish with level 50 strength. In the Fishing guild, you catch equal amounts of tuna and swordfish. I’m not sure of ratios at other spots. In addition to the normal 80 or 100 fishing experience, you gain 8 and 10 strength, respectively. At level 96 fishing, you can catch shark barehanded with level 76 strength. Catching shark barehanded grants 11 strength experience in addition to the normal 110 fishing experience.
Barehanded harpoon fishing has several key uses in the game. A RuneScape player needing food can catch the fish without needing a harpoon. Barehanded harpoon fishing can also fill the inventory if the player is passing a fishing spot en route to a bank. However, the most important use of this skill is when the player goes to miscellania forgetting to bring a tool. Fishing from the docks is a lot simpler than running all the way to the etcetera bank for a tool.
Barbarian fishing is a valuable skill of runescape account, and any RuneScape member of ample level should go to baxtorian falls and start barbarian training with Otto. |

First off, let's find out what kind of pker you want to be.
There are soo many countless ways to succesfully pk in the world of Runescape. The most common way at a high level (60+) is known as a "strength pure". An account that usually gets 40, maybe 60 attack (corrupt (usually at a higher level)) low defence, 1-20, sometimes even 30, usually only 31 prayer, depends on defence level, and very high hp and strength, sometimes 40 range for hp levels and the ability to wear green dragonhide chaps, giving about +25 defence bonuses, unlike iron platelegs/skirt (+10? defence).
These are usually consisted of main accounts at level 75+, having 60 attack, 60 defence, and 70 strength. These runescape accounts are very succesful but very expensive. They use a very common method of pk, known as the quick switch method. They hit their target down to around 15- hp, their opponent eats a lobster, healing 12 (27- hp), you pull out a battle ax (rune or corrupt) or a rune 2h sword and whack them for a nice hit, killing them in a quick blow. This method is efficient, but expensive if you use a corrupt dragon battleaxe because of its pricings-3.5 million coins as of October 2009.
Next is known as the Range/2h. These Pkers are less often seen in the higher levels because of range being a "single" skill where you only need 1 level type to hit high and to use better items. Then they get 40/60 attack and 60+ strength to also use the quick switch method, but more instant than a strength pure's. Instead of using a scimitar or sword to deal the initial damage, they use a shortbow, much faster (about 1.5x faster when on rapid mode) and still able to hit very accurate and high. I was once pked by a range/2h while only eating one piece of food. They hit several 20+'s and pulled out a corrupt dragon battleax and KABOOM!! He koed me with a really scary 32 (this took about 15 seconds). But the cost of arrows really amounts to a lot of money, so this way is very expensive.
Now is the mage pure, usually found in the combat levels of 20-40 in nonmember worlds. Once their opponents can hit over 16, they are pretty much useless because fire blast, only able to hit a max hit of 16, will never be able to kill them, but at a lower level (25 for example), they can easily cast fire bolt and hit 12's whilst their opponents hitting 7's and 8's. They only train magic, sometimes defence or strength/attack (mage/2h, usually pjers).
Now time to teach you how to make or become a pker with an interesting formula that works about 90% of the time, you may want to have a calculator beside you when you get to a higher runescape powerleveling.
Strength Pures- 1.5(Attack level)=strength level, (.05-.2)Strength level+(.05)attack level=defence level, range= 40
Range/2h- Range within 10 levels lower than hp or higher, (1.4 for when you only have under 60 attack, 1.1 when 60 attack+)(attack level)=Strength level, (.95)strength level=range level
As we all know mage in RuneScape is just bad. Well I have an idea to fix it easily and make it more usable. Make a magic that does not require runes. This magic requires incantations or special words to be said to work. To make it fair the incantations are on pieces of paper which are scattered across the world. Each incantation has 20 pieces to it and all 20 pieces need to be found.
Once all are found the player needs to put them together like a puzzle. The player can then use the incantation and use it. The pieces are hard to find so this makes up for endless use. Also the max damage the incantations can do is 20 but they can be used over and over. This would allow players to have magic be a more useful combat style as without needing runes they can save runescape gold. The pieces of paper can be found by using a spade and digging, searching crates, drawers and chest or by killing enemies of all kind. This would give the first two a use again and make it interesting.

| Runescape for 2008. It's fun and relatively easy for those with a mind for puzzles and a bewitching outlook! Maggie, a new witch in town, has come to celebrate her favorite holiday in Asgarnia, but she's in a fix. Her ox, Babe, is sneezing constantly but she needs an enchanted broom to finish her incredible potion. Babe can't be left alone for long, and even Norm, Babe's mate is worried. As you will see, lots of witches are waiting for Maggie's extra special concoction and you'll get some, too!!! See note at the end concerning the end of the Halloween Event. You don't have to be a member or have completed any quests at all! Just talk to Maggie to start this Halloweeny Quest. You can also do the Halloween Event by asking Maggie about Halloween! Dress up in your best costume and go Trick 'R Treating around Runescape's oldest towns before or after you complete the quest. It's all fun and the event gives you a batty emote to use all year!
Start this quest by asking Maggie about Swept Away. She is just south of the Crafting guild and north of the wheat field in Rimmington. Use the link to the Swept Away Quest below for a map and more details. The images on the quest guide show the areas in the mini-map as well.
Maggie needs to keep stirring her potion and watching over Babe but wants help from three witches to add pizazz to her potion: Hetty, in Rimmington, makes the best broom ointment. Betty, in Port Sarim, makes the best wand-waving part of the potion Aggie, in Draynor, is the best at harnessing power from the air. You need to take the broom Maggie gives you to each of the witches to get their special enchantments added to the broom.
Talk to Hetty in Rimmington. She will enchant the broom, but needs a newt to do it. Fortunately, she's just gotten a new delivery of newts. Just go down into her basement, using the trap door just south of the house and ask Gus to get one for you.
Ohhho..... Gus has mislabeled the crates! You'll have to figure out which are what BUT don't waste any of the inventory. Take one from the double label and you'll know that is the one that is in the crate. Since neither of the others are what is pictured, it is obvious which goes on each of the other two. Once you finish labeling the crates correctly, take the newt to Hetty so she can make the potion. Use the potion on the broom.
Go to Aggie in Draynor Village. Talk to her and she'll teleport you to a puzzle in a huge field. You'll need to sweep four lines away using the broom Maggie gave you so that you will end up with four triangles in the sand pattern. The broom will be enchanted by the completion of the sand puzzle. Then talk to Aggie again to be teleported back to Draynor.
Talk to Betty in Port Sarim and she will ask you to go down in the cellar to talk to her assistant, Lottie. Talk to Lottie in the basement of Betty's Magic Store. She will tell you that the chest containing the wand has a special lock on it which can only be opened with the six animals in her cellar in their right pens. These animals are in the wrong pens - except for the bat and snail. You can only move one creature at a time because they don't like each other. The chest will not open until all the animals are in the right cages. You also have to use the holding pen so one creature won't see another creature in it's pen.
Here's the easy way - take the raven out and put it in the holding pen. Move the rat to the raven pen and the rest is obvious. The spider to the spider pen, the lizard to the lizard pen, the rat to the rat pen and then the raven back to it's original pen. Go open the chest and get the wand. Take the wand to Betty and she will enchant the broomstick.
Return to Maggie and let her know all the witches have added their special enchantments to the broom. Maggie will ask you to give it a little stir with the broom. Stir it and speak to Maggie again.
Congratulations! Quest Complete!
Bonus XP! Maggie will give you a bowl that you can use to take 10 servings of her goulash from the cauldron. Each serving will give you the xp a genie lamp gives - skill level times 10 - and can be applied to any of your skill levels. She will also tell you about other witches in Runescape that will add their enchantments to your new broom and give you additional magic xp! You will find more on the enchantments and all sorts of tips and hints to play Runescape on Marlaine's Musings – the link is provided below!
The Halloween Trick or Treat event was removed on November 11, 2008. The Swept Away quest will remain as a members only quest. Maggie, the witch, has moved her caravan just west of the Legends guild and you can speak to her there to start the quest.

| Runescape players dream about being about to attack players outside of Pvp. If you are one of them then you may be interested in finding out how I could. I had logged onto runescape from where I had logged off from yesterday, in the risking portal at clan wars (where all items are lost on death) and my connect started playing up. It usually does this but today it seem to worse than normal.
I had 5000k of adamant arrows (As yesterday I had come to clan wars to play with a few friends and train range), full d hide (including the charged coif), a rune 2h, str pot and half full invent of food left (sword fish). Then my connection started playing up, by this it randomly switches to only sending information for a while. This was at the worst time as I was fighting a ranger and the game screen froze so I couldn’t actually eat or run.
After a few minutes my connection had re-established (without logging off) and I found myself dead. At this point I cursed as I had just lost 1-2mill in arrows. Then I realized I could do something awesome, I still had the feature to attack players (though I did not have the feature to request assistance or trade).
As I had not been outside of the portal since I had last logged on yesterday, I wasn’t 100% sure if this wasn’t just a general glitch by Jagex. So I messaged a friend asking if the certain features I had stated were removed for him. His reply confirmed they were not and by this time I was already at the bounty hunter bank (As i had died I wasn’t wielding anything I could Pvp with, so I needed to get some stuff out of the bank).
During all this time my Internet was still playing up. I then decided to teleported to Varrock and noticed a guy wearing a yellow party hat. Though at this time my connection failed yet again and Runescape logged itself off. I quickly logged myself back on once I could but found all the features had come back and I could no longer ‘attack’ anyone.
I am sure many of you have questions to ask me about this so please do so via a comment. Sadly I never found out if I would have got a party hat drop or just a randomly generated one. Though it may be possible for me to recreate this glitch as my Internet continues screw up when I log on, I have no real intention of doing so.
