Every human sweats. All people have to face body odor at different points in their life. Sweating and body odor are just a small part of being human. Although, there are times that too much sweating and body odor can appear. In these cases what are usually perfectly normal body functions can become incredibly embarrassing.
Nobody yearns to have their body odor conquer the deodorant they're wearing. Sweating through his or her clothing on a daily basis isn't something anybody wants. On a good note, you don't have to battle with these things if they become problematic. There are tons of different ways you can dispute them. Here are some hints for minimizing too much sweating and body odor.
Don't wear synthetic fabrics. Polyester is particularly troublesome for people who suffer from sweating or body odor disorders. This is because these fabrics cling to the skin and keep it from breathing. Because these clothes don't allow air to reach the skin, the body sweats more in an attempt to cool off. Body odor can reach embarrassing levels when subjected to this excessive sweating. Avoiding synthetic fabrics will make cleaning your laundry easier. So it is best to stick to natural fibers and clothing that fits loosely. Let the synthetics stay on the shelves at the thrift stores.
Not all cases can be treated by clothing choices, though; some will need medical help. Antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications are the most common prescriptions. These medications are good at keeping a person calm and even tempered. It is when a person gets nervous, anxious or angry that their sweat glands increase production. By finding a way to stay calm under pressure you can cut down on the sweating that you do. This in turn lowers the body odor that needs to be covered up.
Extreme cases may require the use of Botox injections to manage excessive sweating and body odor. Don't use this for every day sweat or for sweating that happens after exercising. Understand that this treatment is a last resort for controlling intense sweating. The sweat glands won't be triggered to produce because the botox blocks the nerves from sending the signals. It only takes a small amount to shut down the sweat glands completely. It is extremely important to discuss this with your doctor and an endocrinologist before using this method. Remember: Botox is poison and should not be used without a doctor's consent, especially for this purpose. Living with excessive sweating and body odor can be emotionally painful and lonely. You must be courageous enough to seek help for this. It might also take some time because the only way to truly treat the condition is to figure out what works through a process of trial and error. At some point, though, you will find a treatment that is right for you, and you'll breathe a sigh of relief. You'll be able to forget about this and just live! You simply have to do whatever it takes to get past this!
