Walang masyadong after taste.

Anyway, for the first time in a week ay di ako nakaramdam ng pagsakit ng dibdib or any discomfort sa paghinga. Exercise lang pala ang katapat. Yun nga lang masakit ang aking paa at lower back.

Subukan ang isaw (food for the soul).
A high dose of laughter is guaranteed.
- Maglakad, mag-jog o kaya ay mag bisikleta around the park or just around the barangay for 15-30 minutes.
- Take a quick nap.

Natural process.
Malunggay! My gulay! Out of topic... anyway... Narito ang ilang copy-paste na something-something about MALUNGGAY. Malunggay is a miracle vegetable. By Dr. Lydia M. Marero Food and Nutrition Research Institute
Malunggay, known scientifically as Moringa oleifera Lamk, is one of the world's most useful plants. It is used as food, effective flocculant or water treatment, antibiotic, source of oil, and coagulant for turbid waters.
It is also called mother's best friend, and miracle vegetable by many who know malunggay's beneficial uses. It is cultivated in all countries of the tropics. It is easy to plant and is available year-round.
Malunggay's image was even used as the official logo of the Food and Nutrition Research Institute, an agency of the Department of Science and Technology.
One hundred grams or 1 cup of cooked malunggay leaves contain 3.1 g. protein, 0.6 g. fiber, 96 mg calcium, 29 mg phosphorus, 1.7 mg iron, 2,820 mg ß-carotene, 0.07 mg thiamin, 0.14 mg riboflavin, 1.1 mg niacin, and 53 mg ascorbic acid or vitamin C. The antioxidant activity of malunggay is about 71%, with µ-tocopherol (vitamin E) equivalent of 45.
Malunggay leaves are an excellent source of vitamin A and B, and minerals such as calcium and iron. It is even an excellent source of protein, being higher than the amino acid pattern of Food and Agriculture Organization-reference protein, yet contains very low fat and carbohydrates. The leaves are incomparable as a source of the sulfur-containing amino acids methionine and cystine, often the natural minerals humans lack.
Due to its high vitamins A, C, and E, which are very potent antioxidants, malunggay is a very good quencher of unstable free radicals that can react with and damage molecules that cause aging. Antioxidants reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They also prevent the onset of various chronic diseases like arthritis, cancer, and heart and kidney diseases.
Malunggay contains the phytochemical niaziminin, which is found to have molecular components that can prevent the development of cancer cells (Faizi et al., 1992) and correlated with inhibitory ability against superoxide generation. The first naturally-occuring thiocarbamates, novel hypotensive agents niazinin A, niazinin B, niazimicin and niaziminin A and B were isolated from malunggay.
Malunggay is called miracle vegetable because it is not just a food, it is also a medicine. It may therefore be a functional food. Malunggay promotes good eyesight, digestion, facilitates bowel movement, and is a cure for stomach ache.
It is also used to cleanse wounds and ulcers. It helps alleviate scurvy, asthma, earache, and headaches. For its high calcium content, lactating mothers are advised to eat malunggay leaves to produce more milk.
Malunggay is usually cooked with chicken as tinola, or with fish and other vegetables, mongo soup dishes, and blanched as salads.

Tubig diet. It's all in the mind. Kala mo gutom ka when imfak uhaw lang pala.
Narito ang ilang Water Facts ayon kay Mang Ernie (Suma Langit Nawa)... General Facts:

Water Myths Water
may be the most undervalued nutritional and therapeutic element on this
planet. Modern society has made four large assumptions about hydration
that are not true. These assumptions are being overturned by visionary
scientists who see clearly how important adequate hydration is, and how
dehydration is the cause of many chronic conditions. These
four assumptions about water and health have contributed to widespread
epidemics of obesity, diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
While it may take another five years for our culture to embrace these
newfound truths, in time they will. In part because the value of
adequate hydration as a prevention tool will save employers billions of
dollars and help to reduce the crushing costs of the "sick care"
industry. Also, both employers and employees want prevention because
they don’t want the suffering and cost of "sick care". Water Myth 1: Responding to thirst in the mouth is enough to keep a person adequately hydrated. Truth:
Thirst in the mouth arises only after you are already 2% dehydrated. In
38% of the population the thirst mechanism is "broken" and thirst is
mistaken for hunger. When deprived of adequate water the body activates
a "drought management response". Water is moved from less critical
bodily functions toward more critical ones. Most of this water comes
from your cells, which require water to function properly. This loss of
water at the cellular level causes systems to decay and die. Updated Manifestations of "Thirst":
At the first level of dehydration thirst manifests as anxiety,
irritability, fatigue, depression, cravings, cramps and body aches to
name a few. At the second level of dehydration thirst manifests as
heartburn, joint and back pain, migraine headaches, angina,
constipation/colitis and fibromyalgia. At the third level of
dehydration thirst manifests as allergies, asthma, hypertension,
diabetes, lupus, psoriasis and various autoimmune and neurological
diseases. Studies have shown that dehydration contributes to many other
chronic conditions including cancers, and that adequate hydration
reduces the risk of contracting them. Water Myth 2: Water only dissolves and circulates substances in the body. Truth:
Water is responsible for these types of life sustaining activities and
more. Water moving through cell membranes actually produces a
significant portion of the energy the cell then uses to perform its
functions. Less water equals a lower level of cellular function. Water Myth 3: The body efficiently regulates water intake over a lifetime. Truth:
The body actually looses its capacity to register "thirst" as we age.
The decline of the thirst mechanism begins at about age 30 and becomes
much more significant in old age. As we age, we naturally dehydrate.
Adequate hydration into old age can help maintain a youthful vitality
and slow down "aging". Water Myth 4: Liquids other than water can substitute for water’s life giving properties. Truth:
Water in other liquids rarely has restorative benefits equal to water.
Many are incapable of producing sufficient energy at the cellular
level. Many substances actually cause a net loss of body water. A
20-ounce beer or caffeinated cola will actually cause about a 10-ounce
net water loss in the body. |

Hay my gulay!
