Dr. Craig Creasman focuses on plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery procedures including liposuction and other reconstructive surgical procedures. Please contact us today to learn more about this procedure.
Patients who desire an liposuction
usually are seeking to reduce the size of a protruding fat deposits
throughout the body. This procedure is best for individuals who are
seeking to reduce fat deposits and are in relatively good health. Age
is not a factor in liposuction, except that older patients' skin may
not be as elastic and may not yield the same result as a person with
more elastic skin. Eliminating these deposits may also affect an
individual's confidence, leading them to seek their own liposuction in San Jose.
A liposuction
can help such individuals restore a thinner and fitter looking contour
to their bodies. The specified portion of the body is made smaller to
better match the shape of the patient. Dr. Craig Creasman in San Jose
accomplishes this by removing excess fat through a vacuuming procedure.
This not only helps to restore the physical appearance of the patient,
but also restores self-confidence and respect to the patient. Please contact Dr. Creasman to learn more about getting a liposuction in San Jose.
Liposuction
is a very individualized procedure in which your goals should be
realistically determined and discussed with your surgeon in San Jose.
Together you will determine what specific procedures will be performed.
Liposuction is often performed in conjunction with other procedures such as abdominoplasty
to achieve an effect that better matches the proportions of the body.
Once your goals have been determined you will set a date for this procedure in San Jose and will be given instructions about how to prepare.
When the date for your liposuction in San Jose
has arrived, you should plan on the surgery taking several hours or
more depending on which procedures you are having performed. Several
liposuction procedures are available which can vary in cost and amount
of time required, and while the method may be different with each
procedure, the underlying principal is still the same. A small incision
is made so that a tube can be inserted to the lower layers of fat which
are then vacuumed out of the body. Incisions are placed on the body to
minimize visibility.
The basic procedure for liposuction in San Jose
differs from other procedures in that the newer procedures make the
operation easier to perform and reduce the pain and discomfort that
happens after the operation. One such procedure is an ultrasonic
lipoplasty which uses ultrasonic energy to first liquefy the fat before
it is removed. This tends to make the procedure easier to perform and
the recovery process happens more smoothly.
Although newer
procedures reduce the pain after the operation, some pain and swelling
may still occur. Patients are usually mobile again after the procedure
but it may take a few weeks before you feel completely normal again.
Medications are available to further reduce the discomfort after the
procedure. All procedures are performed with anesthesia to minimize any
discomfort or pain. Please visit our home page to learn more about an liposuction in San Jose.
Dr. Craig Creasman can help you to achieve your goals. He specializes in procedures relating to liposuction including procedures such as face lifts, breast augmentation, nose jobs, ear pinning, and tummy tucks. Dr. Gilbert Tresley focuses on plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery procedures including breast lifts and other reconstructive surgical procedures. Please contact us today to learn more about this procedure.
Patients
who desire a breast lift in Chicago may have noticed loss of skin
elasticity, gravity and other factors such as weight loss, pregnancy
and breast-feeding ultimately affect the shape and firmness of your
breasts. Patients who are generally satisfied with the size of their
breasts can have a breast lift to raise and firm them, resulting in a
more youthful breast contour. Such factors may boost an individual's
confidence, leading them to seek their own Breast Lift in Chicago.
Some
patients may be unhappy that they have lost a significant amount of
breast volume over time. In such cases, implants inserted in
conjunction with a breast lift can increase breast size at the same
time as the shape and position of the breasts are enhanced. This not
only helps to restore the physical appearance of the patient, but also
restores self-confidence and respect to the patient. Please contact Dr. Tresley to learn more about getting a Breast Lift in Chicago.
A breast lift
is a very individualized procedure in which your goals should be
realistically determined and discussed with your physician in Chicago.
Together you will determine what specific procedures will be performed.
A breast lift is often performed in conjunction with other procedures
such as breast augmentation. Once your goals have been determined you will set a date for this procedure in Chicago and will be given instructions about how to prepare.
When the date for your breast lift in Chicago
has arrived, you should plan on the surgery taking several hours or
more depending on which procedures you are having performed. A common
method of lifting the breasts involves three incisions. One incision is
made around the areola. Another runs vertically from the bottom edge of
the areola to the crease underneath the breast. The third incision is
horizontal beneath the breast and follows the natural curve of the
breast crease.
After the plastic surgeon has removed excess
breast skin, the nipple and areola are shifted to a higher position.
The areola, which in a sagging breast may have been stretched, can be
reduced in size. Skin that was formerly located above the areola is
brought down and together beneath it to reshape the breast. The nipples
and areolas remain attached to underlying mounds of tissue, and this
usually allows for the preservation of sensation and the ability to
breast-feed. All procedures are performed with anesthesia to minimize
any discomfort or pain. Please visit our home page to learn more about a breast lift in Chicago.

Breast-Lift Introduction:
Breast lift
or Mastopexy is surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging
breasts. Mastopexy can also reduce the size of areola. If the breasts
are small and have lost volume breast implants inserted along with
Mastopexy can increase both firmness and their size. A breast can be
performed at any age, but one has to wait until breast development has
stopped. Since milk duets and nipples are left intact, surgery will not
affect your ability to breast feed. Breasts that are large and heavy
can be lifted, but the results may not be so long lasting as when it is
done on smaller breasts.
Reasons for undergoing a breast lift:
* Breasts that lack substance or firmness. * Some of the candidates have breasts that are pendulous, but of satisfactory size. * Nipples and areolas that point downwards, especially if they are positioned below the breast crease. * Loss of elasticity, weight loss, pregnancy and breast-feeding affect the shape and firmness of the breasts.
Personal consultation:
During your visit, you will be asked about your desired breast shape and size. Your plastic surgeon will tell you how nipples and areolas will be repositioned. Mention your expectations about your breasts.
Evaluation by your plastic surgeon:
Your
plastic surgeon will examine your breasts, takes measurements. The size
and shape of your breasts and the placements of nipples and areolas
will be carefully evaluated. Medical history will be discussed like
medicine conditions, drug allergies, medical treatments received,
previous surgeries include breast biopsies and medications that you
take. If there was a weight loss, your weight should be stabilized
before surgery.
Risks involved:
A breast lift
surgery is normally safe when significant by a qualified surgeon.
Significant complications from breast lifts are not frequent. Thousands
of women go through surgery, without experiencing major problems and
are pleased with the results. Following a breast lift surgery,
sometimes the breasts may not be perfectly symmetrical or the nipple
may vary slightly, permanent loss of sensation in the nipples or areas
of breast skin may occur rarely. Revisional surgery may be helpful
where incisions have healed poorly. Bleeding and infection following a
breast lift are not common, but they can cause scars to widen. You can
reduce the risks by clearly following your physician’s advice before
and after surgery.
Types of anesthesia:
Breasts lifts
are usually performed under general anesthesia. In patients where a
smaller incision is being made the surgeon may use local anesthesia.
Surgical procedure:
Full breast lift:
Mastopexy
usually takes one and half to three and half hours. The most common
procedure involves an anchor shaped incision across the base of the
breast as well as incisions around the areolas and an incision between
the areola and the base of the breast. The incision outlines the area
from which the breast skin will be removed and defines the new location
for the nipple. The nipple and areola are moved to the higher possible
with the removal of excess skin. The skin surrounding the areola is
then brought down to reshape the breast. Maximal correction of the
breast shape is possible with this but at the cost of more scarring.
Modified breast lift:
Patients
with relatively small breast and minimal sagging are candidates for
modified breast lift. This requires fewer incisions. One such procedure
is the “doughnut mastopexy”, in which circular incisions are made
around the areola, and a doughnut shaped of skin is removed.
After your surgery:
After
surgery you will wear an elastic bandage or a surgical bra over gauze
dressings. Your breasts will be bruised, swollen for a day or two. Pain
will not be severe, which will be relived with medications. The
stitches will be removed after a week or two. If the breast skin is
dry, use moisturizer several times a day. The numbness you feel in that
area usually fades as the swelling subsides over the next six weeks or
so.
Healing is a gradual process. Take it easy for a week or
two. Lifting weight for three or four weeks should be avoided. Avoid
strenuous sports for about a month. This operation will not affect your
ability to breast feed, since your milk duets and nipples will e left
intact. You should remember that a breast lift won’t keep you firm
forever. The effects of gravity, pregnancy, aging, and weight
fluctuations will eventfully take their toll again. |

Breast Augmentation in Oklahoma - Dr. Bryan Whitlock focuses on plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery procedures including breast augmentation and other plastic surgery procedures. Please contact us today to learn more about this procedure.
Patients seeking breast augmentation in Oklahoma
may do so for a variety of reasons. A woman may desire larger breasts
to enhance her body contour or if she feels her current breast size is
too small. Breast augmentation may also be performed in order to make
corrections after pregnancy or to balance the size of the breasts.
Correcting these can also help to strengthen self-confidence, leading
patients to seek their own breast augmentation.
Breast
Augmentation uses breast implants which are either filled with a saline
solution or silicone gel. Saline implants are most commonly used as the
use of silicone implants has been restricted. This is because the
rupture of a silicone implant may release the silicone material into
the body's tissues which is a significant health concern. If saline
implants rupture, the saline solution is harmlessly reabsorbed into the
body and the implant can be replaced. Please contact Dr. Whitlock to learn more about getting breast augmentation in Oklahoma.
Breast
augmentation is a very individualized procedure in which your goals
should be realistically determined and discussed with your surgeon in
Oklahoma. Together you will determine what specific procedures will be
performed. Once your goals have been determined you will set a date for
this procedure in Oklahoma and will be given instructions about how to prepare.
When the date for your breast augmentation
has arrived, your surgeon may select from a variety of methods for
inserting the implants. Implants can be inserted through several
locations including the line where the breast and body meet, the areola
(dark area surrounding the nipple), the armpit, and even the naval. The
patient should discuss with the physician and determine which location
is best to minimize the visibility of any scarring that may occur.
After
the procedure, patients often experience soreness for a few days but
are back into their normal lives within a day or two. Pain following
the surgery can be minimized by medications prescribed by your doctor.
All procedures are performed with anesthesia to minimize any discomfort
or pain. Please visit our home page to learn more about Breast Augmentation in Oklahoma.
It is important to follow any instructions your physician may have following your breast augmentation.
Patients should be aware that soreness will be present after the
operation and that physical activity following the operation should be
avoided for a period of time. Scarring from the operation does occur
but will fade away gradually, although scars may never disappear
completely.

can help you to achieve your goals. This doctor specializes in
procedures relating to breast augmentation including procedures such as
face lifts, liposuction, and tummy tucks. To schedule an appointment or to learn more about a breast augmentation, please contact us today. |

Liposuction is an option for patients
who are bothered by excess fat on the neck or body that does not
improve with diet or exercise. Liposuction slims and reshapes specific
areas of the body by removing localized fat deposits, resulting in
improved body proportion and contour. Areas frequently treated are the
abdomen, love handles, thighs, chest, hips, double chin, and knees.
Liposuction
is neither a treatment for obesity nor a substitute for proper diet and
exercise. Ideal patients are within 30% of their ideal weight.
The Procedure
Liposuction
may be done under general anesthesia or sedation and may take from 1-5
hours, depending on the amount of fat to be removed. The surgery is
performed through small, inconspicuous incisions. A thin tube is
inserted through these incisions and fat is dislodged and suctioned. Dr. Gross
performs Ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty or UAL, which uses ultrasonic
energy, as well as a Tumescent technique, to minimize bruising and
swelling.
Recovery
After the procedure, you will
wear a compression garment to minimize swelling and to support your new
contours as you heal. A return to normal, light activities will be
possible as soon as you feel ready. Bruising and swelling usually
subside in 2-4 weeks, and you will see the early results.
Results
The
final results take shape over 3-6 months, at which time you will notice
a slimmer and more even body contour. These results can be long
lasting, so long as you continue to practice a healthy lifestyle which
includes regular physical activity.
Risks
Post-operative
complications vary from patient to patient depending on age, life-style
and medical history. These include irregular pigmentation, contour
irregularities and excessive fluid loss or accumulation. You can reduce
your risk by closely following your surgeon's instructions before and
after the surgery. |

Considering breast augmentation in Pasadena?
Breast
augmentation (or augmentation mammaplasty) is a cosmetic procedure that
uses breast implants ( saline breast implants or silicone breast
implants ) to enlarge and shape the breasts. Some of the reasons women
seek breast enlargement surgery are to change the size or shape of
their breasts, to bring balance when a breast that is smaller than the
other, and to correct a loss of volume or fullness after weight loss or
pregnancy. Breast lifts, breast reduction
and other breast surgery procedures are also available. Dr. Gross has
been one of the few chosen Board Certified Plastic Surgeons to conduct
an FDA approved clinical study on cohesive gel breast implants also
known as gummy bear breast implants. The trials are open to patients
seeking a first time augmentation, a revision of a breast augmentation,
or breast reconstruction following mastectomy.
Liposuction
is an option for patients who are bothered by excess fat on the neck or
body that does not improve with diet or exercise. Liposuction slims and
reshapes specific areas of the body by removing localized fat deposits,
resulting in improved body proportion and contour. Areas frequently
treated are the abdomen love handles thighs chest hips double chin and
knees. For liposuction in Pasadena or Glendale contact us today. Learn about tummy tuck surgery and learn more about other body contouring procedures like surgery after massive weight loss and body lift surgery.
Rhinoplasty,
or nose surgery, can enhance the shape, size, and general appearance of
your nose by correcting a drooping nasal tip, a bump on the nasal
bridge, and other unfavorable attributes. Chin enhancement or chin
augmentation is a procedure often performed alongside rhinoplasty to
achieve optimal facial balance. The procedure is done on an outpatient
basis under sedation or general anesthesia. Working through nasal
incisions, the nose’s framework of bone and cartilage is sculpted to
the desired shape. Changes may be made to reshape the tip, reduce the
size or width of the nose, increase or decrease the nasal bridge, or
change the angle between the nose and the upper lip. Contact John Gross for rhinoplasty in Glendale or facelift surgery.
A Facelift
(technically known as rhytidectomy) can improve the effects of aging by
removing or repositioning fat, tightening underlying tissues, and
removing excess skin from the face and neck. A facelift can be
performed in conjunction with other procedures such as a brow lift, dermabrasion, eyelid surgery, lip augmentation
or nose reshaping for optimal results. A facelift can smooth out
wrinkles, improve facial and neck contours and give a more rested and
youthful appearance. Having a facelift does not “stop the clock”, as
your face will continue to age with time. However, you will
realistically look 5 to 10 years younger. Learn about having a facelift in Los Angeles. |
