As you can see, breastfeeding your child is very easy. However, my sister had countless problem when it came to her milk supply. It was after years of struggle that she managed to increase it. Did my sister do this overnight?
As much as I'd like to say so, no. The increase in the milk production took several months and it was proceeded by an increase in her blood sugar and red blood cell count. This may sound complex, but most hospitals will analyze your blood and give you this information for very cheap. It was more important than ever that she increased her milk supply, because things were starting to get out of hand. She had more and more trouble breastfeeding and she even had to rely on a friend of hers to give her the breast milk necessary for her child's health.
Is this even possible?
Seems like it. My sister finally dealt with the issue at hand, but at first the doctor she was talking to gave her some very valuable advice - improve her general health, before trying anything else!
