Thanks for the comment, never thought of it that way.  Hopefully, we might be getting stormy weather soon, but it all depends.  The only time we get stormy weather like last night, is when it was really hot and it wasn't supposed to be like that.  Up in Johannesburg, it is a natural occurance during the summer and you can actually smell thunder coming.  The smell is the same in Cape Town, but it doesn't happen that often.

Last night we had a massive storm which included lightning and thunder.  Here in Cape Town South Africa it is very unusual, so last night was so cool.  The only problem I had with the storm was the fact that it is very difficult to photograph it with a digital camera.  Unfortunately I don't have an excellent camera, but still I think it must be possible to capture this.  Tried my best to get a picture but no such luck.  Seeing that this doesn't happen often where I live, I just missed the chance.  Hope that maybe it will happen again.  Anyone with ideas to capture this awesome occurance, feel free to let me know.
