Welcome to my blog. I am very excited about all the avenues of the writing industry. My first children's book, "Ashley's Unforgettable Summer," is a rewarding experience. Although I am currently working on three books, I find myself getting derailed. I guess you could call it "life." There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. With all of the distractions, as well as trying to stay focused, I find myself wondering If I've taken on more than I know what to do with. Nevertheless, I will get it all completed.
Take a look around, hopefully you will find something here of interest. Check out my photos, (on the left)
Blessings and God's love. |

"Forsaken Land." is a story of a young boy, who wanders away from the safety of his back yard and finds himself in a place of no return, or so it seems.
As Logan ventures through the wilderness, the anticipation of the unknown begins to creep in. He's startled by echoing sounds that remind him of dinosaures. But surely that can't be, or could it? As the cries become more intense, Logan realizes he must run for his life and seek shelter.
Logan and his trusted friend, Sam, a golden retriver, will encounter many obstacles as they try to escape the dangers that lurk beyond every corner.
Journey with Logan and Sam as they fall through a force field that lands them in a safety zone. Here Logan meets Brent, who has a plan, but will they be able to defeat this monster?
As you journey with Logan through this adventure, you will be intrigued at every turn. You will be captivated as he and Brent devise a plan of survival and escape.

"My Alabaster Box." Is another book I am working on. This book will reveal the hardships, and pain, I endured as I struggled with depression. My life in general was stressful, and at times seemed to be more than I knew how to handle. As I struggled with my emotions, and tried to determine if I even had a purpose in life, my need for compassion became overwhelming.
I needed inner peace, but it seemed far beyond my reach. . There were moments when I contemplated suicide.
I enjoyed several years of happiness and contentment, until circumstances stirred the old feelings I thought would never return.
Follow me through the pages of "My Alabaster Box," and discover where Jesus found me, hiding in my darkest place.
I truly believe this book will be encouraging, and offer hope for anyone going through the same situation.

Ashley’s Unforgettable Summerby Grace ReddickChildren’s Fiction Xlibris“Tina! Where are you going? Come back here, “Ashley yelled, chasing Tina to the stairs. But as usual, the little chimp was moving fast. There was no stopping her. She slid down the banister and out of sight.

Ashley was beginning to question herself. Had she made the right decision by bringing this chimpanzee home? Tina seemed to be three steps ahead of Ashley and her best friend Rylee. Tina was obviously out of control. Just how far would she go? Only time would tell.

Grace Reddick, author of "Ashley's Unforgettable Summer", spoke to the students at Sand Hill Elementary on Monday as part of Young Authors Week. The Savannah native and Ellabell resident has been speaking to students all over the Coastal Empire for the past year, but her visit to Sand Hill was one very close to her heart. Her granddaughter and inspiration for the book, Ashley, is a teacher at the school.
