The sun was very firece in the morning though i managed to make a big round walk and found many Chinese associations like han Nan, Zhao Zhou, Ke Shu but not able to find Fujian as i did not know the place. The hotel that i stay now is already 60 years old and the owner is the one who makes bread and coffee for the customer. he speaks some Min Nan.

He told me he did not go to school but he could own a hotel of 50 rooms.

After a good sleep. I went to the Stadium and there was som sports events on , Do not read Thai and ddi not know what it was. But heard the annoucement of the provinces from the Southern parts.

The people in Trang come in many face shapes. Roung, long and oval. Fine, they all have high noses and these shocked me a little. Though the skin colour is tanned, someeven deep tanned. They are good looking with the Indian types of high nose. Need to study more of this place as this place is near Andaman Sea where Indians sea farers, or traders in the early century all berth at the port.

The fare for the speed boat to Langkawi from Satun is 650 bahts. A good choice. So next time, you can come to Phuket by speed boat. Trang is near Phuket.

Got few info from the Lonely Planet and i hopped on the train bounded for Trang, a entry point to nearby islands for sea activities.

Check into the 5-star backpacker hotel, the siggn board said it not i say it. It is like the hotel of the China Ah Pek in the 60s in Malaysia. Tasted the most expensive kopi-O and went to stroll around the market place.

Ate my breakfast with hong kong tim sum and bak mee heng( wantan mee dry) for 30 bahts without drink. The 15 bahts of KOPI-O told me to be more careful about it. Just don't know how the cost of living here.

Well, what interested me is the ferry boat from Trang to Langkawi. Wow, maybe i may cancelled my plan to Hat Yai and travel by sea, 5 hours and go to Langkawi and from there back home.

This cyber cafe is almost the same price as in Thewet in Bkk, 20 bahts an hour. At the moment, i am the only one in the cafe with the operator watching the MCOT TV.

After the failure attempt in Pechatbun, i rushed to bkk last night and now ready to leave Bkk. I still try hard to apply the school but at many a time feel disillusion. In fact, i was happy that the project in pechatbun is not success as it may bring in some problems for me in that layback town.

Well, nothing to say, i strongly believe that the one up on the heaven will guide me in the right path. I think too much and got too much of pressures.

So a little colour for you when you are in the sawadee lan, they called it land of smiles. I doubt how many are smiling with the BA degree can only get 7000 bahts a month as a teacher.

No time to think further as money is time. Left Bkk last night for Phetchabun, a small city, like kampar, for a last try of interview. The bus left Bkk at 23 hours and the bus reached the bus station at 4am. Did not like to wake the new aquaitance up to come to fetch me at the bus station, i sent him a sms but there was no reply and i knew well it was a the sleepy hours.

The second sms sent out an hour later, as the bus service already began and the town was coming to life after a night sleep.

Went to the university, and found out many things. Though i don't like it, have to wait for tomorrow as the Dean is away for her mother-in-law's funeral.

The British who married a Thai woman seemed to be in charged of many things in handling the foreign teachers. I , on the way told the new acquiantnce that i knew Chinese language and immediately i was put to teach Chinese language. A field which i was not trained for but i think why not i take the challenge.

The British sided the Thai counterparts lots and this disgusted me a little and later i was told he is a Jew. Oh, now you should know why he is not wanting to go back to the UK.

Tomorrow afternoon will know my fate to stay in this town or leave for home.

Lo Li Lo So 箩里 箩嗦 > winter in BKK

If you read the headline, you don't believe it but it is true that the winter is in Bangkok. What do you mean the winter is the heat is reduced. When i was on the way to the industrial zone in Samut Prakan, the bus passed the Metelogical Deparment and i saw the digital temperature flashed at 29.5 degrees celcius in the hot afternoon in at 2.30pm in BKK.

So, this is the winter, in fact, the chilly wintery wind did play a little effect in the temperature. For example, now at 19.15 hours bkk time, the temperature is low and it is feeling nice. As i never came to visit Bkk at the end of the year, thus, did not know the change of the temperature.

The third day in Bkk is such a boring and will soon be home if the ESAN project is not not taken foot.My money in Thai bahts is almost finished. So, it is back to basic,. Too bad, isn't it ?

The bus arrived earlier than the staff told me in the guest house. There i saw the ugly scences of Khao San Road. In fact, it is there all the time, call girls and boys are gathered to have the businss deal sealed. Life in Bkk

Same things in Thewet market. Thanks the sweeper lady pointe out where i could get the bus to the hostel. Pom, the lady works in the hostel for ages is having her second baby in 2008. She would carry her potruded waist walking here and there.Still a cheerful lady.

But, my roomate, a dual citizen of France and Italian let his steam out by complaining about Thailand. What a joke, he has such a complain and still like to be here. A school drop out of 15 seeking fortune in the sawadee land. He could not speak English and he learn to speak the language in Thailand when Thais think he is English and he passed it through with the Thais ignorance.

He is a buddist and the body is tatoo with 5 monks inscription. Will continue the story later.

Europe a place for many and in his eyes and experince, is a hell thus he revolves in ASEAN for 5 years now, what is his income, i don't know. He likes Malaysia much as he could easily get the visa for 3 months.

Could not talk much as the cyber cafe charges are higher than in Chiang Mai. Will only fill the vital ones.

Awoke at 5.20 am. Just without any alarm, in fact, set the alarm at 7 am but could not go to dream again after the awakening from the staff of the guest house.I think they would have made all the same noise every monring, just as the past 6 days i did not pay attention to it.

As i did not anticipate a good deal for the interview, thus, just fulfilled the promises made earlier. But it turned out that the International Relations Officer was quite ok. She is not as what she has sounded in the phone. Perhaps, she is busy.

Well, what a joke that they asked an American who has no much teaching exprience to interview and judge me. There is a big diverse in the cultures and the IR officer is a Singaporean who knows well of RELC. She married to a Thai and have 2 grown up daughters and she is nothing to do and come to work. She repeated said that she likes Chiang Mai. And surprise me that her duaghters have dual citizenship, but i did not ask which country.

I decided to give up the offer, if in any case , and i am going to Bangkok tonight. Now s 1.10pm and the bus will only leave at 8pm. They came to guesthouse, many guesthouses are the agent for this company, to pick up. I enquired at the Arcade ( Bus station ) the ticket is 540 bahts and here is only 350bahts and it stops in khao San Road. I like it as it does not go to Mochit 2, which is far from the town. From Khao San Road, most Mat Sallehs like to stay there, lots of guest houses, but i did stay there once, a quarter of the century ago at Sawadee guest House but not this has grow big to Inn.

From Khao San raod i can get a bus to Thewet market youth hostel.the bloody thing is that my clothings are still in Chiang Rai.This trip yield nothing.Well, let me start everything again.

Thailand education has no future at all. How to help and save them is depening on Thai poeple. As ASEAN members we must be helping one another so that we can be strong and able to fight the invasion from the WEST, even the China , Japan and Korea.

Check out from Banana Guest House i got myself a treat for vegetarian lunch and am here to log the journal. Perhaps, few days from now, may not log in as the net in BKK is 25 to 35 bahts an hour. Now, every cent must be carefully calculated.

Bye bye Chiang Mai, Hello Bangkok
