It rained for two days and the temperature dripped down to 23.5 degreees celcius this morning and i need to get the clothes washed and it would not be able to get dried. Too bad, my planning.
i was planing to wear the batik shirt for the interview and this morning, all of the sudden, think of the yellow colour.Yes, this yellow colour is going almost for two years and that is why u can see all the time, the people of Thailand wearing all kinds of clothings in yellow. They have to be creative and if not, just plain yellow will bored you to death.
Well, i am not too happy about the way that international relations officer spoke to me. She places high of the boss. Of course, boss is important but to praise the boss unneccesay is disgusted. Perhpas, i may not take this job as the pay is not that good.
You will know how it is in the afternoon. My interview is at 9 am and i am worrying the yellow T-shirt may not dry. Habis , kenal pakai juga lah. The bus fare from my guest house to the school i think will take more than 60 bahts. Bushed invaded the Iraq and things change. The guest houses in chinag mai, or they called rose of the north is very competitative.
if i knew that not too far away from my Banana Guest House there is a laundry charges only 20 bahts for self service, i would not give it to the guest house for 30 bahts per kilo. i just got the yellow T-shirt and a track bottom done. |

The new Standards of Learning are important because they set reasonable targets and expectations for what teachers need to teach and students need to learn. Clear, concise academic standards will let parents and teachers know what is expected of students, and each student's performance and achievement can be measured against the standards. This requirement provides greater accountability on the part of the public schools and gives the local school boards the autonomy and flexibility they need to offer programs that best meet the educational needs of students.

It was very terrible yesterday that my mood swang high and low. I need to take the B complex i think. Many men refused to admit the manapause, but for me, i took it happily.
Again, wake up early, hehehe, 7.45 am and lazed around for an hour to get the batery charged and then got to get the face cleaned.
Don't know what will be happening today, in fact , nothing to hope for, just for tomorrow go to Chiang Rai and pack the clothes and balik kampong.
Though saying that, i still perched on the teflasia.com to see whether to score something to do. I have the visa till end of march next year.
have stay in Banana guest house for 4 days and started to get to know the people here. That is the best part of the hostel and guest house in Thailand that you can feel the lives of the local people. Of course i spent most of the time on the pc, in the cybercafe, 10 bahts an hour where can you get it ???
Well, hope tomorrow will be the best time to be in Chiang Rai and all cleared and bye bye to CRI.
In fact i missed the kao niao the gluletin rice, nasi peruk. |

Delighted that Robin is taking his family for a travelling but not wandering :). It is not easy for the working adults to clear leave with the school holidays.Well, ok, since i promised him for the info, hopefully correct ones.
Well, if there are times, then it is best to consider what to do and see. Basically now there are different package, either self-tailored or work with the travel agency. The packages may come in these:
1.cultural
2.shopping spree
3.hopping and photo session and
4.food buds or gourment
So, now, it is time to consider a traning camp for the youngs ? Ok then let them decide on the agenda and $$ matter, of course with a budget.
I prefer to stay in the guest house or hostel as this would have a better view into the local life. All info exchanged would be great besides the kids can practise the English. The staff of the guest house normally speak English with darjah 4 hehe, it is good to around.get a map and a pair of shoes and walk around the old city of Chiang Mai. Spend another day taking the city bus and go round the city.
If like the hilltribes hadiwork, can get some and lern some thai before going to have the fun of bargaining. But i would like to recommend the Pasar Malam, or Night Bazzar at the AUA area. It is on Saturday or Sunday evening, check it out. You can get the different types of crowd. The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel area night bazzar are crowded with tourists. As you know the locals are out. But the pasar malam near AUA are mostly locals plus the toruists who know it or have the time for it.
For the guesthouse and youth hostel, you ca choose it with your pocket budget. Some can be arranged for airport pick up.
Well, the next thing is the shooting range. It is good to take the children for the shooting. I did not know how much, certainly will be cheaper than Malaysia.
If jungle trekking is your favourite, trek the Malaysian junglles and then come to see the different.
Ok, it is up till here. not too good mood today hehehe |

Woke up very early, to me at the plesure of a traveller or wonderer. I fell back to bed and gain my conscious at about half past eight in the morning. Decided to have a stroll of the place and packed a bottle of drinking water and went to the market.
What surprised me was the market has a new design in it. All the meat seller are cornered in a part of the market. All the glass walls with the sound of Thai music floating in and out from time to time.I love this idea. It is good as the old management would see the flies flying and the fans, sort of the ceiling fans tye with a plastic bage circling tiredly on top but still cannot chase away the smell.
Since the cyber cafe is not yet open, i forgot the time and i made another round and came to this one. Fine, with 10 bahts per hour as it said on the door. i hope the staff would deny it when i log out. Writing blog needs time to think and key in. Hoho, i use only two fingers lah.
Ok, the guest house that i am staying now is ok, clean and you cannot ask for more with 100 bahts a day single room with fan.The dorm, oo, i did not go to see it, is 80 bahts a bed. But i read in the web was 50 bahts a bed, Well, you know that when the world fuel prices shot up caused by the superpower country lead by Bush, most tickets prices are also up. As the air travelling will put a column on fuel surchage.
i was trying hard to put up at the YHA venter piece but when i called, the same problem exsit that the male staff could not speak English. Aha, this time, i had less frustration as my Thai language can get around with the basic info of the room and facilities. I heard that Centerpiece has changed management and upgraded and the dorm is no longer and the website still said it has.
In fact near the Arcade or Long distance bus station has a few hong chow, which meants you can rent for days, week, or month. I did not understand the info from the lady in the bus staion information counter, i carried a bag with 13 kgs on my back and walked to the Carefour area and discovered some hong chow too. What the info counter was near the wat, temple. You can read signs in English with xxxxxxx house or room for rent. After negotioation and the lowest that i could get was 200 bahts. Well, five days stay will mean 1000 bahts and went to the cc again and search for guest house instaed of hostel and found the Banana Guest house is the cheapest so far that i know of. Then the next thing is waiting for Noy to pick me and send me there. Of course, i can get a song tiao and be early to take a rest but the whole thought was just like to meet this new acquintance.
Ok, a little tired now and will log in again tonight at the other cc, 15 bahts with webcam.

Aha, came out to plan the money matter with the bank. Thus, need to plan for the old age lor. At the same time to check the mail of the job apply yesterday. When time passed, which meant that thinking and also views changed. Though i worked with the Prinicpal before, what in the past may not be the same as he is going to 70 years old. I could feel it becuase what i felt when i was 40 and 50 was not the same.
But disappointed that i did not get a reply yet.
By the end of the month will be back to Thailand again to facilitate the a project and hope could be success. I could not say how it will go but quite contradict with it also.
Last night, thought it over and feel that i need to stay home so that i could something that i like to do for a long time, that is to write a book. It may not be a best seller, but a time record of history.
Aiya, have to consider further, if i can get a sponsor for to sit down and write without worries, that is very good. Of course, i could not do like the JK of Harry porter author, she could sat and write even she was in the state of finanical difficuties. But look at her background, a graudate of English from University of Exeterhttp://www.jkrowling.com/textonly/en/biography.cfm.
